Even when Biden wins this election, this election cycle would have taken its toll on the US. Trump has effectively destroyed Trust in the Media, US law enforcement, the Presidency, and now the courts. Look at what is going on with Trump's trials. The Supreme Court, a Federal Judge (Judge Cannon) and a State Supreme court (Georgia Supreme Court) have all put their hands on the scales of justice to delay his trials. That Alito was flying flags supporting Jan 6th is nuts on its own. In another time he would resign. At the minimum, he would recuse himself from any Trump case. Neither has happened.

A lot of the progress that has been made has been turned back. From Affirmative Action to reproductive rights.
