They use torn naira notes for all transactions in the North. And whenever you walk into any Bank in the North with mutilated naira notes, the Bank Teller will collect it and give you new ones without any documentation and without wasting your time.

That was how I embarrassed myself on my first visit to the north. I bought suya the guys gave me mutilated note as change. The money ehn be like wetin trailer jam. As I tried to return the money back to him that this money dem nor go take am.
