I said it from the beginning Onuachu has no business being in this team. He should go back home from here. Dele Bashiru has been poor. Tiaminu has been brilliant.

Honestly, we don't look properly coached but I can't blame Finidi so much because he did have time with the lads.

We are also totally lacking in the midfield to offensive build up play. Our transitioning is poor and we need to plug that gap.

The South Africans will go deeper and that will mean us being more creative in our final passes.

Imagine trailing by a goal... and still playing with NO urgency.

Finidi is here to STAY! Indigenous Coach is the FUTURE! grin
It's the lack of urgency for me, very annoying.

Finidi is the reason why we'll loose this match
Why bench moffi/Boniface for Onauchu? My goodness
Did he sell this match ?

Moffi lookman and Kelechi upfront would've done the magic since Kelechi and lookman are inverted wingers moffi can sometimes swap positions with them depending on who is with the ball
No magic anywhere. It's all blood and sweat. Nothing like magic

Finidi is just setting up Onuachu for unnecessary dragging. This is not his kind of game. I dropped about 3 lineups here and none of them had Onuachu.

Has Onuachu ever had his "kind of game" with the super eagles? Mtcheew

Broos schooling Finidi so far.

SA have a beautiful setup with a low block and quick transitions. We are playing into their hands...lucky to be only a goal down.

The offensive transitions have been very slow from SE. That midfield playing today is glaringly imbalanced... let's see what happens after the break.

Am I the only one seeing that our players are not putting body to this game, not ready to take risks, no urgency at all despite a goal down.

Even if he was that good, introducing him in the QFs is a bad idea.. That Taminu guy you see how he dey play.. Too composed to a fault

Remo Stars Sodiq Ismail is considered a better player to Osayi and boasts of goals and assists as a RB this season.

All these
Onuachu
Sadiq bla bla are not SE materials.
i prefer to the least a “Terem Moffi” as back up to osimhen if dey dont wanna start Boniface…lets have moffi play and dump all these onuachu bla bla

You see that Onuachu and Sadiq? Once they score one goal in their club, people start dancing for them. I've never regarded them as SE players. They are useless as SE players

We don’t need to be properly coached, just put Onyeka besides Ndidi to help build up, remove that fvcking giraffe upfront and we'll have a chance, Finidi has not shown that he has 1iq since he was given this job

When I voiced my skepticism about Onuachu before the game, many people were telling me about how he works miracles at his club. Okay o.

then somebody will now say we are over relying on Osimhen. Look at who they are playing in his absence.

Mujtahida:

What baffles me is that some of us see people like Onuachu and Sadiq as viable striking options. Personally, I don't consider them as even fit to wear our jersey.

If you have watched Super Eagles for a long time, you will know instantly when you see a player that is not SE material.

You mean we couldn't pay Peseiro what he wanted. Because I'm quite sure that with Peseiro, this game will end in a draw. Here I worry that south Africa might find another goal. Which will make it 2 nil.

why did he accept the job knowing he has just 39days to a crucial match. Friendly match he was suppose to utilise to get to know his players what did he do. Abeg they better not lose this match.

I want to see Boniface, Chukwueze in for Onuachu and Iheanacho

Tinumu has no bite at all

Chukwueze has not had good season but has had a better season than KC.

How can you select a man (KC) with two left feet to play right wing that cannot cross to save his life and or dribble over Chukwueze. I confuse 🤔🤔

Time u say? This guy was an assistant for years just recently

So what time does he need? And that's why he beats amunuke and co to the job because he was already used to this lad

Lamentation galore...... Football analysis is not by sentiment or emotional attachment.....
I saw it coming with the shenanigans of the NFF and some Homebase advocate journo....its gonna be a very long nite for the SE and its faithfuls.
Zero your mind from qualifying for this world cup, its already sold immediately after Afcon with the appointments made and call ups.

Way forward is to relieve Finidi immediately after this match...do not wait for Benin match to take him off.

Play anybody in place of Osimhen but never Onuachu and Sadiq. They won't score and they will distort the structure of the team.

Ndidi needs to stay deeper to help the defenders build play more seamlessly. His drifting forward too fast and causing Iwobi to leave his role not catered for.

We also should cut the needles long balls. We need to work the inner channels of the South Africans to create chances.
