Iwobi needs to be arrested
For what.....he played very well Today or because you see him as vulnerable to bully? He did well just few misfiring which will not outshine how good he played today. Overall Nigerian players need to be more clinical in front of goal post, they may not qualify if they don't win the rest 3 matches

You are a very matured football analyst. Don't mind the olodos wey dey bash Iwobi. Iwobi was simply top class in that midfield today. He just can't finish.

Coach whey wan score goals leave one of him most prolific Striker for bench.

Abeg abeg

Maybe Boniface had a bad attitude in training, or maybe he wasn't fit.

Maybe he was missing chances in training. Why would the coach play him?

You guys sit on the outside thinking it's all so simple.

My take from the game

1) ) Onachu should tell us how much he has been paying to get into Eagles team ..he can't even control the ball well

2) South Africa is good but we didn't show quality ...we should have won

3) The best point man for the style of football I saw is play tonight is Boniface ...starting onachu with wingers whose strenght isn't crosses is an evidence that finidi is mad

4) Iwobi missed some chance but I will pardon him cos he created a lot too....he was involved in every good thing happening in that attack

5)Lookman was poor today ...

6) Finidi should never for any reason bench Yusuf again ...the energy he give and he way he bursts around into the box is Soo good...he can pass the ball decently too

7) We have every spice to be a good team but we still never lock ....it's up to Finidi to do that

MOFFI IS NOT THE KIND OF PLAYER I THOUGHT HE IS. HE IS OVERRATED.

Full blast tough match..but why didn't supper eagle win this match. I saw the way they played but the south Africans were ready for them . . Our people should have shown class by winning the match. I recall that was how Italy and Spain won us in world cup many years ago at Italian 90

Which effort or is it their effort of intelligence
I hope you know the Nigerian goal was assisted by iwobi..He had a lot of interceptions and counterplay for the team and for me he had a good match.Again I feel they tried considering the strength of the opponent played.

I haven't seen super eagles string passes recently like they did in this match.

I am impressed with the second half and kudos to the boys.

I expect him to bring Boniface in like 60mins and remove Onachu. 78 mis was late.

I still believe in Finidi. The old players would have disgraced us

Lookman and iwobi had a one kind game.

They were good in patches of the game but showed metal fatigue in other patches of the game.

It's like they were mentally tired at a point but were just determined to play for the green and white color.

So I will say they tried but coach may need to remove them in subsequent games to avoid story that touches.

Corruption made us waste 79mins of winning chances on Onuachi.

We will never prove anything to the world except we tackle the cancer.

The first 11 is the same players that started 2nd half minus Onuachu.

If Onuachi played then I'm not surprised at the result. He has never made any positive impact on the team. So why the choice of him? He is better to play friendly matches until he finds his feet on the field.

The team looks more fluid without Osiemen.

Chikuwze looked more dangerous without Osiemen.

Everyone was looking for each other and creativity was solid.

We need to work on our finishing..

So you,A known Nairaland Bigot is hailing chukuweze? Who for no reason hate a tribe that haven't killed your people nor a single case of riot unlike what some people do. Yet Igbo is your problem

Wonders shall never end!

Morocco a team that got to semi finals of the world cup couldn't beat south Africa.

Bruv football is not as easy as it looks.

We created more chances and should have won.

Are u madt ? You didn't say this when Rhor was qualifying us for all tournaments, some with a game to spare. We're you people not the same pple that called for his sack when he drew 4 all in Benin in a qualifier he had almost qualified the country for.

Now SA is a big team, which nonsense big team, when we drew Benin republic, they are still a big team ?

Onachu was good in link up play.

He won a lot of headers in transition, something Osimhen didn't do enough at Afcon especially in the final against Ivory coast.

His other general play however was poor because the wingers that started were like "false nine wingers" . They don't have good crossing abilities.
