Chukwudi Iwuchukwu, a Facebook influencer and founder of leading PR company Visage Media, on Friday, meet with Nigerian economist, philanthropist, and chairman of Heirs Holdings, Transcorp, and United Bank for Africa, Tony Elumelu.

He wrote after meeting the billionaire business mogul.

1) 1 applied for the role of social media manager at Heir Holdings, a family business that belongs to Tony Elumelu, in 2013.

I was fresh out of Nigerian law school and was desperately looking for what to do to keep body and soul together.

2) I was invited for an interview at their head office in Ikoyi , but unfortunately I did not scale through after the interview.

That failure pain me die.

3) At that time, I was in the lowest period of my life.

I was fresh out of Nigerian law school, broke, and desperately looking for anything to do to keep my body and soul together.

4) Eleven years later, in the same building where I failed the interview in 2013, I met the founder of the business.

This time, I did not come for another round of interviews.

I came at Oga’s invitation.

5) Life comes in full circle.

If you like, give up, but na who give up lose last last.

Tony is a mentor to a lot of Nigerian youths. I am one of them. Thank you for giving me that opportunity to start my banking career in 2006. I’m a proud product of UBA.

New wigs in Nigeria suffer beyond some people's imagination... if that guy had not been lucky to meet Tony Elumelu it may have not ended well for him as a lawyer in Nigeria... in tinubus words... "the profession is gone".

Reaction to the Press Briefing by Nigerian Minister of Information (as posted by Nurudeen Adeyemi)

ABSTRACT:
A Nation that spends its resources for the comfort of few in power, makes an open invitation for the learned to agitate.

SOCIAL FACT:
Nigerian leadership lacks administrative knowledge, devoid of prospective governance. The nation is in the terrible control of money scavengers and heading towards doom.

INTRODUCTION:
The level of fiscal expenses made by the government of Nigeria under President Tinibu, at the tune of billions of naira for the comfort of few Nigerians in power, makes it clear that the claim by the President that Nigeria is facing economic difficulties and that citizens must endure austerity measures, is but a myth.

BACKGROUND:
Information reveals that about 15 billion naira is allocated for the renovation of the Vice President’s house, a house that is recently vacated by past leadership just about a year ago.

Another 40 billion naira is said to have been allocated to renovate the National Legislative Assembly complex.

There is also purchase of pleasure cars at the sum of about 160 million naira each for 109 senators, and 360 House of Representatives members, who already own too many luxerous cars.

In recent time, about 90 billion naira is allocated for religious hajj to Mecca. Yet, this is the Nigeria it’s President said the masses must endure hardship due to economic setbacks.

Meanwhile, in these tremendous wastes, only 1 billion naira is allocated for renovation of higher institutions of learning in Nigeria.

CONSIDERATIONS:
A right thinking mind in any good leadership must know that the total financial activities as enumerated above in this regime, are not tied with any economic income or financial anticipation rather, they are sociopolitical expenses. The education sector, which is crucial, has the least in the expenditure.

QUESTIONS:
Does the President really understand the economic implications of spending more on sociopolitical activities rather than the economic sectors?

How could a government in the midst of hunger and starvation of its masses, prefers to waste its resources for the benefit of few, in a population of over 200 million?

Does this present government understand the implications of wasteful expenditure?

What sort of economic approach is President Tinibu applying?

CONCLUSION:
It is vivid that Nigerian political leaders are actually using the country as a money club for their personal gain rather than true administration of a nation. Because they seem not to have positive economic ideas or understand the concept of governance. They act as touts who scramble for money and riches. Like the “Alibaba and the forty thieves”

Which means that Tony is only looking to pose with finished products he did not invest in.

Or better put, the young man was too good for Heirs holdings even though they made him feel he was not good enough

Unfortunately for him too, I can't leave my thriving and beautiful family for him.

Crush doesn't necessarily mean attraction to the person. It's also attraction to success.
