I am in support of what Labour is agitating for but shutting down the national grid was treason and criminal. In some countries you can be prosecuted for that because it amounts to economic sabotage. Let's agitate with sense...

Ajaero will be put on his place. Watch. Tinubu is very clever. He will always stoop to conquer. He needs the support of Nigerians so he will tolerate the misbehaviour and overt sabotage of Ajaero and co for now.

Once Tinubu's reforms start to bear fruit and Nigeria is on the up, positively impacting his popularity and helping him to consolidate power, the likes of Ajaero will be on a one-way ticket to jail trying this nonsense in future. Fairly predictable chain of events we have seen before and will see again and again.

People like you proves that most Nigerian graduates are dumb.
You çall this disaster waiting to happen reform, just listen to your god n stf!!

When people come out and talk no sense.
Does Doyin Okupe knows also that's it's evil that the DISCOs collect electricity bills even when they supply darkness!!!!!

I live in a place where if you check the number of hours the DISCOs brings electricity for usage in a 30 day period, it's not up to the equivalent for 7 days and yet one gets to pay like it's been used for a 30 days because it's all estimated bills. They have refused to bring prepaid meters even when people intend to purchase.

Anybody saying it's treasonable for NLC to have shutdown the national grid should also know that it's a criminal offense for the FG through any of it's representatives to come out and lie to Nigerians.
A man and a people who fought an administration that was better than what we have now should know that he should perform magic to ensure they do much more better and stop telling people to give them time. If one year in office is not okay for you to put the economy in place doing all the right things using the right approach then it's as good as cluelessness.

I believe the comment below is tailor made for those who reason these things like you.
eldoradoxx:
Nigeria's national grid which shamefully boasts of only about 3000 megawatts collapses on its own almost every month putting the whole country in total darkness. Labour did not shut down your poor national grid, the workers your government pay #30,000 minimum wage simply withdrew their services and stayed at home to press home the demand for better living wage and the management of the grid had to shut it down.
Re: Strike: Shutting Down National Grid Was Evil – Doyin Okupe Tackles Labour by MomohMrMoore: 7:04am On Jun 08
Completely Evil. To forestall this in the future, Federal Government should employ military and police as staff of the grids and aviation control towers. They will take over the operations of these units in the event of strike.

The striking workers did not stop you from going to offer the service in their place so why do you lambast them from walking out when they are underpaid for their service? undecided

There are thousands of protests in Western countries. Have you ever seen when they shut down the power so everyone suffers?
Anyone who shuts down the electricity should be shot dead.

U don't know what's going on in Nigeria presently

That was then

Now NLC owns a political party
And I guess only the members of the NLC political party will benefit from the pay rise when it comes.

Let's suppose NLC owns a political party, what about its sister labour centre TUC, which party does it own?

See how politics of religion and tribe has messed your brains up.

LOL... if people choose to support the government, then it simply means Nigerians are not ready for change and need to suffer some more. But I see no reason why that should stop NLC from demanding better pay at all, and I don't see why Labor should be expected to operate on pay rates that place them all well in abject poverty conditions. undecided
oh right.

So when people want to suffer, they should suffer something that won't even benefit them right?

They didn't strike to bring down inflation that affects everyone, but they are fighting for the minimum wage that will cause more inflation and benefit the pockets of only few.

But the rest of the country must suffer so those fews can benefit?

We will see na. Bookmark this thread and many others where you myopic elements are talking nonsense merely because you are most guilty of what you accuse others of.

We will revisit them in a year when Tinubu's reforms would have transfoemed Nigeria to the satisfaction of many Nigerians.

Very obvious most of you attack Tinubu for nothing other than the fact you want your incompetent and below mediocre kinsman Obi as President.

Otherwise you wont be so venomous and toxic against a President only a year into his first term and with reforms an averagely intelligent person can note are grounded in solid and logical solutions-provision brainstorming.

All people like you do is make accusstion against others you think hide what you are i.e biased, bigoted and u progressive elements only devoted to clan and sectional affiliates.

Huh! Rule by division. As If ajeero is responsible for the policies that is taking us no where. Apc once said that pdp is the problem of this nation, made many to vote against the bad for the worst.

Today, after 9 years. it is one narrative after another. It is high time you stopped this one sided fallacy, except you just want to be snaky about the truth. With rate of hunger and hopelessness in this country, we should preparing for turmoil because your people can't be hungry while the big wigs are lavishing the money on themselves.

They are asking us to endure while they keep getting bumper packages at the expenses of the people they rule. They couldn't practice what they preached.
