The last election was an ethno-religious one. In fact, the Yorubas still tried. Obi won Lagos, and Atiku won Osun state. Atiku would have won Oyo if not for the fallout of G5.

Besides, Atiku made Obi's presidency impossible, not Tinubu. Atiku is a selfish man. He had no business being in that election; it was the South's turn, and all he could have done was support Obi.

However, the Igbo people didn't realize how bad Atiku is, but they saw it in Tinubu, who is a southerner and not a member of the PDP.
