I believe players should go to most tournaments based on form and CV (especially what you've actually done for the team) and not PR.

If it was Kane that had such a bad Rashford form and he was dropped, I would have understand your concern but certainly not Rashford. Rashford deserves every right to be dropped and Southgate was real spot on there

The person I'm even concerned about is Maguire. He shouldn't have been dropped except of course he has injury which Southgate feels could limit him else I don't see why Maguire should be dropped.

I don't think Rashford have been exceptional for England else that would have given him the edge in this England's team when he's now currently off form. Rashford himself have not been a guaranteed starter for the past two major tournaments (at least) if I'm not mistaken. So I really understand Southgate decision esp when the people whom he brought in are hot (Eze, Gordons etc)

And yeah, I'm surprised for Toney is included but no wam. And I'm certainly happy for Eze too, he deserves it.
