People are more resilient and tolerant in first marriages than in second . Also most people don take accountability of their own faults in the marriage and end up not address them personally . They carry those behaviors into the next marriage coupled with low tolerance and divorce “experience” .

Asides from the stats, this particular case don't look good. The time period is quite short for restrospecting and learning. This is quite evident in his decision making. Especially to a Lawyer who handled his case. Basically his life is in her hands lol. I wonder why he can't stay casually with the Lawyer instead for as long as possible.

Well, wish him luck. I hope he did a prenup this time. As a divorce Lawyer, she should understand if he does.

I was already losing hope on this generation before I read your comments. Thank you. It's so easy to deceive these young minds in Nigeria. No wonder the old politicians keep having an easy ride over the unthinking population.

What is the Nigeria Bar Association's ethical provision regarding that?

It is like a licensed marriage therapist who handled the marriage counselling of a married couple and they went on to get a divorce, 2 weeks later, the therapist got married to one of them! cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy , The therapist is sure losing the practicing license as one can only date/marry a former client after 2 to 5 years of cessation of therapy session.

Woman you shouldn't be in tears. If the lawyer didn't marry him, another woman will eventually do.

Just that in this case the woman alone was her client putting her under no professional obligation not to marry her clients enemy..haha

The woman will be doing fasting and prayer for the marriage to breakup, unfortunately, na that kind marriage dey last pass🤣. The lawyer already knows the mistakes the divorced wife made and will never repeat them, the man will be more matured and has learnt some lessons from the previous wife, the marriage will only keep on getting stronger to the detriment of the ex-wife🤣

Amen, in Jesus name.

That’s exactly what it is. Another “let’s shame women for divorce” concocted cock and bull story
GloriousGbola:

made up story

but more importantly, why would a woman who was commited to divorcing a man be upset if he went with another woman
in a country like nigeria, by the time a woman decided to divorce a man, she has seen multiple shege

not all men or women are worth hanging on to

this is like ffk's first wives complaining when ffk married precious - why would they when they know that 'the cane used to flog the old wife will still be used to flog the new wife'

more likely, the woman will be like - i wish you all the best and try not to laugh when the man shows his colour. in fact, the lawyer would actually be stupid or desperate, because in the course of the case , she would have sen the man finish [adultery, domestic violence, deadbeat, or whatever it was that led to the divorce in the first place]

this is just a made up story for clout

a nigerian woman who has gotten to the divorce was already at cohabiting stage - or active dislike of their spouse

There is obviously more to this story than we have been told. Based on the scant facts that we have, the lawyer will lose her license if she ever faces the LPDC.

I doubt if any lawyer will be that reckless.

Best lessons are the ones learnt in a hard way. This is a message to all women in marriage, that what seems to be like thorn in your flesh is a soothing balm in another woman's flesh, so keep your man before they snatch him from you. Countless women are out there eyeing him and ready to spend their last card on him.
