They should declare a 30 days warning strike to begin with. Anything short of this is not commensurate action.

But please leave the lights on grin

All these government workers are funny people. Always acting as if the world revolves round them. Are you guys shutting down the market? What concerns millions of Nigerians with you people? Shops will still open likewise market and other trades.

Nigerians should stock up because what will happen? If you guys trike today, market will open. Filling stations will sell. You will just cause unnecessary inflation and nothing more. Do people enjoy your salary with you? If you like go for 3 years

Strike lies a head, after that, more strike, after that more more.

If labour knew they would accept less than 105k , please don't go further with this strike, coz we the masses are tired.

250k is not enough to feed family of 4. However, as they increased everything get ready for great depression ahead

Nigerians are not ready to bear hardship by way of prolong strike for the greater good. Labour will not go on strike

Very anyhow group of nuisance!😠
Shallow and self-centered too!
They will never fighting for better standard of living nor consider the negative impart of salary increments without corresponding increase in production.
Instead of fighting for N1million wages increments (something that will make the prize of commodities also gallop), fight for better standard of living(Return of transparent subsidy, Steady power supply etc) where N100 can conveniently feed you for a whole week!

I can bet you’re not a working class person. You are either jobless or still depending on your parents. No sensible worker will wish to go on strike for a month.

It is funny that minimum wage can't even buy a bag of rice.

No, they shouldn't.. at this point, they have to take caution so they don't plunge the country into recession.

If the State Governors are saying they can't pay above 60k minimum wage, then there is issue cos the States form the bulk of the Federation's workforce. Abia I learnt is still paying 18k minimum wage.

They need to meet and discuss at length abeg..

See it this way.. minimum wage cuts across public and private sectors.

In the public sector.. FG, States and L.G.A workers are affected.

In the private sector.. the banks, media outlets, entrepreneurs etc. are also affected.

NLC now has to sit and find a way out on this minimum wage issue.. cos if they keep holding FG to agree, what about the 36 States and about 774 L.G.As across the country.
