fatima04: Absolutely........ If you put your child in a private primary school, they coach them as part of the fees you pay ....... But if you are from Ijebu like some of us, put your child in public primary school and get a teacher or do the coaching yourself........ 1 Like |

@mamatukwas. You can check out Royal London. We have been using them for 4yrs with very minimal changes. Remember to explore the option of putting it in a trust, and also not cancelled by your employer's cover if being provided. 1 Like |

UnconventionalT: Simply navigate to the investment part of Monzo, either put in savings or investments (with investments funds are used to buy ETF's). Depending on your risk appetite on type of investments........ I am set at maximum risk....... ππ€£ |

Viruses: I feel this is a good idea, only if you want to use funds in Nigeria....... If you hope to recall funds to Β£ later, your gains would be eroded + you might incur some losses...... But going down this your thought process, I would open a 1st bank savings account or Branch....... On β¦4 million, you would receive an interest of β¦25K per month guaranteed...... π€£π |

Surge of the right/far right in European elections, particularly France, Belgium and Germany... Macron having to call a snap election... Only a few years ago, Marine Le Pen was dismissed as a rabid, far right "nutter", today she is positioning herself as a credible government in waiting. Will be interesting to see how the far right i.e. Reform, performs in the UK. |

The Top global university list 2025 was published last week. UK's Imperial College overtook Oxbridge for the first time to be named 2nd best in the world after MIT. The US and the UK performed best in the international league table, with both countries each boasting 4 universities in the top 10. There are 90 UK universities in this yearβs league table, making it the second-most represented location, behind the US (197) and above China (71). Osoderi: Your question is quite vague. Could you clarify what extension this is for? Visa extension? Or Passport renewal? Let's start from there. |

A word of advice for people seeking cheap vehicle insurance....... Avoid using agents, it would always end up in tears........πππ You would lose your money + have a CIFAS marker on your credit report + if you're unlucky to get stopped by the police, you would appear before a magistrate........ 1 Like |

Re: Living In The Uk-life Of An Immigrant (part 3) by missjekyll: 7:26am On Jun 10 |
Zahra29: You know what this means ,don't you? Far from interesting, the rise of the far right is a calamity for anyone who is not white, male,Christian or straight. They have previous form for deadly persecution. I am usually very open to other ideas but I do not understand their supporters on this thread, to be frank. |

missjekyll: I find it very interesting too. Labour currently isnβt in its best phase generally and from an immigrant standpoint but go say one will vote for Reform in particular due to that is just funny. Imagine going to vote for one of these Reform candidates: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=usV9RhxZhVs Or this guy whose policy in an article he published is to deport all immigrants from 1997 and have their families shrieking and crying https://hopenothate.org.uk/2024/03/21/far-right-fantasies-of-reform-uk-candidate-beau-dade/ Or these dudes, one of which; surprise surprise, is of Nigerian origin : https://hopenothate.org.uk/2024/06/08/more-weird-and-worrying-reform-candidates/ 1 Like |
