We have some good defenders in Europe; but Finidi chooses to pick a guy from the Tanzanian League.
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2023, 2025 And 2026 World Cup by Zellas: 5:56pm On Jun 10
Finidi is not a coach.
From the selection to the formation.
The players has no clear idea what they want to do when in posession and when defending.
Once you have a little good performance boom in the starting lineup.
He even invited injured players.
What a country, what a coach

Nigeria going behind at half time is not even the issue right now, the main concern is that we can't even play good football, we are not even a threat.

Raphael Onyedika proving me right again.
How many times do I have to be right our players' profile before folks understand that we are this close to being extra formidable as a team, if we pick right.

this sums it all. You have been hammering on this onyedika. I begin to wonder if these coaches actually research on players

I don't really understand where the Finidi blame is coming from.

Ndidi was the main culprit for both goals. Bassey coming second. Finidi can only select the team and do his best tactically. It is left for those players to show they want it more.

Rohr's guys aren't even playing well and they are winning. That's the thing about Rohr in qualifiers. He has a way of getting his results even when his players are poor.

Finidi should use his tongue and count his teeth. Useless selection, non-existent tactics and rubbish performance. His sack letter is already loading with speed.

We were supposed to consolidate on the Afcon setup. But too much of a change in too little a time. We'll as I said somebody is setting Finidi up to fail and he took the bait nicely. Next you will hear is we need foreign coach

We took a big gamble on finidi. Yes he will come good with time but not now.

Finidi’s lean defense pick coming back to bite or he can’t just organize his defense?

To be honest, it seems we are overhyping those guys. Most of them are playing at standards below the NPFL.

Some of us no sabi talk better analysis.

Bench Moffi and Chuks for who? The same Paul and KC we were complaining about before?

The team is playing better than yesterday but two defensive goofs and we are down. It’s not like Benin has been creating chance after chance. We just defended badly in two instances and got punished for it.

Still enough time to get 2 goals and all three points but we will need to score our 2nd within 5-10 mins of the restart.

They deserve to miss it countless time. If they are serious they would have report early to camp.

During Afcon, you can clearly see what the team is about but this one everybody is everywhere at once.

The Benin team is not a top quality team but we are seriously struggling to get going.

We should really be beating this team 3-0 , but we are not honestly we are playing like we do not know each other .

I talk say Finidi should take a leaf from Peseiro defensive philosophy, theoretical masters say no. Does that mean he should copy like a sheep? No. But we can see that Finidi totally abandoned the lessons of our great Afcon defense.
No our nyash is leaking. During Afcon you won't even see space to shoot
.

I love this game. Figiti don finito our eagles and NFF are spectators, but Sha oo me don sit for fence.

Something about urgency in the middle. It's looking like a funny mix except Iwobi takes a pass from the two CBs. Because of this, nobody is close to Lookman as a result. Same for Chuks. They're trying to outmark Iwobi, then the fullbacks need to step up.

I think we were in a hurry bring in ndidi back to this team, we already had a blended midfield from the Afcon, if dude was not fully fit why risk him
