I don't really understand where the Finidi blame is coming from.

Ndidi was the main culprit for both goals. Bassey coming second. Finidi can only select the team and do his best tactically. It is left for those players to show they want it more.
we have to blame him oooo. His defence selection is lean. Why not invite people like osho. Sha, ndidi is a major error in this team

Nevertheless. Nigeria players are just average kind of players. They need good coach to up their game. We cam now see the effect of pasero. He knew we can't achieve enough in attacking systems yet set up his team defensively but noo nigeria love attacking footiie

As for Tanimu, only God knows how he got there and got to play as RB. Only God can explain it. Even the angels will be puzzled.

Rohr's guys aren't even playing well and they are winning. That's the thing about Rohr in qualifiers. He has a way of getting his results even when his players are poor.

Finidi should use his tongue and count his teeth. Useless selection, non-existent tactics and rubbish performance. His sack letter is already loading with speed.

Rohr has the secret sauce

He sabi use Haram style football qualify for word cup

Another Jose mourinho

Peseiro go they laugh for anywhere he they now enh 😂

If we fail to win this match, den deres no point hoping to qualify …it’s just a pity dt our so called stars will miss two consecutive world cups 🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹

And that will remain Finidi's legacy if it ends that way. A big shame of a manager, but also, the biggest of them all, the NFF leadership.

I think something Peseiro took a while to fix is broken again — dealing with corner kicks. I saw the players chasing the ball and it left a huge gap.

What's annoying is that this Benin Team are nothing spectacular.

We just chose to be generous by conceding those cheap goals.

This is it. I don't see us getting back from this.

Bye 2026 WC.

We have some good defenders in Europe; but Finidi chooses to pick a guy from the Tanzanian League.

Tanimu has had a better game than your European-based Ajayi and Bassey. So no need picking on the lad. He has been decent at least. Our CB pairing has the largest fault today so it will be unfair to blame Tanimu because of his club-side.

Anything less than 3 points and these guys won't be there in 2026.

I don't think they will.

We still have 4 matches left to play so shut it

It’s home and away don’t forget that

We were supposed to consolidate on the Afcon setup. But too much of a change in too little a time. We'll as I said somebody is setting Finidi up to fail and he took the bait nicely. Next you will hear is we need foreign coach

I hope we still struggle to win today but I have been saying it that we are likely to bundle all our little gains from Afcon

Lol. Our players are actually average trash. Rohr and Peseiro saw that and played them defensively to hide their shame.

Osimhen will be the ONLY African player of the year who might miss 2 world cups? Kai this one na curse o! The next world cup that roll by will see Osimhen clocking 35? LMFAOOO he might as well just retire if we fail to qualify to this edition.

What a shame, an utter waste of a football generation, even when it was really bad for Nigerian football we were never this BAD to struggle in an expanded WCQ featuring teams like Lesotho, Zimbabwe, Rwanda and Benin republic?

God will punish every NFF official for disgracing Nigeria like this, may none of their children amount to anything good. Bleep the Super Eagles and Bleep this cursed APC administration that has destroyed our football completely.

I think I'm just about done with Nigerian football, time to focus what's left of my patriotism on more important things in life. Nigeria won't be the death of me.

And oh, Finidi can unequivocally Bleep off as well and resign after this shitshow.

Guy is living on legends status. I see nothing significant he's doing. At least, Rohr had order and urgency. These ones have none. Ndidi especially. He has nothing doing in a starting xi in the here and now. Errors

Not really Rohr per say.

Those clowns in the NFF have badly managed the change of coaches for a long time.

That funny Eguavoen will be looking for a backdoor to the SE coaching role again.

he may likely not win this game. A typical rohr tactics at this point is all defence.
I wish these guys allow the 1-0, we would have finished them. Anyway this is football. My instincts tells me that we will win.
