Guys relax! After all, world champions like Italy have missed the world cup twice in a row now also.
abeg no play any advocate today. Loosing WC slot in abuja is a legit reason for any concerned fan to be agitated that the 2nd is under threat again. Shuuu. Relax what? So na destiny of Italy we dey target now? Why not the destiny of Spain or Germany?

No matter how good your formation is if the players don’t have the ability to execute it

Otilo they’ll fall like dominoes

I don't really understand where the Finidi blame is coming from.

Ndidi was the main culprit for both goals. Bassey coming second. Finidi can only select the team and do his best tactically. It is left for those players to show they want it more.
Why is taminu and osayi not playing in there favorite position ?

Some of us no sabi talk better analysis.

Bench Moffi and Chuks for who? The same Paul and KC we were complaining about before?

The team is playing better than yesterday but two defensive goofs and we are down. It’s not like Benin has been creating chance after chance. We just defended badly in two instances and got punished for it.

Still enough time to get 2 goals and all three points but we will need to score our 2nd within 5-10 mins of the restart.

No be mouth let both players stand up and be counted, their opponents have scored twice who is holding their leg

Onyedika plays as the holding midfielder (6) for Belgian league champions, Club Brugge, Ndidi plays as a box to box midfielder (cool for English Championship winning side Leicester City.

Why are their roles being reversed for the national team?

Someone asked 😏

Rohr and urgency in the same sentence. No wonder we go back to certain bad leaders

USAfall2024:

Tanimu has had a better game than your European-based Ajayi and Bassey. So no need picking on the lad. He has been decent at least. Our CB pairing has the largest fault today so it will be unfair to blame Tanimu because of his club-side.
Tanimu is not super eagles material, he is not deserved to be selected ahead of Igor Ogbu,he is there because of Finidi

Everyone blames the coach and forget

That these players are all good friends and they won’t berate each other or throw each other under the bus when there’s a lack luster performance

No senior player on the team holding the rest of the players accountable go there do what you can and leave that’s the philosophy

First goal blame completely and entirely with the goal keeper running and leaving his goal 🥅 to become a defender.

As soon as he left his line it was too easy for the forward to score an open net 🥅 what a gift.

Second goal shambolic defending.

Nonetheless, I see us winning not nicely but ugly.

NFF keeps on doing the same thing every time and expect different results. Gernot Rohr built a formidable team that even beat Argentina and drew with Brazil only for NFF to play politics and remove him and bring Eguavoen from NFF backyard and gave him original white shirt to wear, we missed out of the world cup to an inferior Ghana at that time.
Again , Jose Poseiro built another team that surprisingly reached the final of AFCON, only for NFF to bring Finidi George with no Superior football philosophy and polish him the way politicians polished bad leaders before presenting them to the common man. Today we have seen the starting. The players only played what they individually knew. If we don't bring in a well trained foreign coach, Nigeria may not go to the next world cup.

Wilfred Ndidi - It is so sad but your time in the Super Eagles Starting XI is up.

I enjoyed your rise and early days jn the GWG but right now, you are not starter material.

Finidi is experimenting in a world cup qualifier. Playing too many players out of position and expecting good results.

Tanimu is no RB neither is Osayi a LB.

Osimhen will be the ONLY African player of the year who might miss 2 world cups? Kai this one na curse o! The next world cup that roll by will see Osimhen clocking 35? LMFAOOO he might as well just retire if we fail to qualify to this edition.

What a shame, an utter waste of a football generation, even when it was really bad for Nigerian football we were never this BAD to struggle in an expanded WCQ featuring teams like Lesotho, Zimbabwe, Rwanda and Benin republic?

God will punish every NFF official for disgracing Nigeria like this, may none of their children amount to anything good. Bleep the Super Eagles and Bleep this cursed APC administration that has destroyed our football completely.

I think I'm just about done with Nigerian football, time to focus what's left of my patriotism on more important things in life. Nigeria won't be the death of me.

And oh, Finidi can unequivocally Bleep off as well and resign after this shitshow.
.

I av bin saying it dat NFF are the problem of Nigeria's football.

This guy's aren't dummies now. It's obvious Tiaminu can't pass the ball, why can't one of the DM drop back to always get the ball from him. He's made 2 mistakes now that almost cost us a goal.

Right from afcon when we performed outstandingly well without him i know that he’s in danger

His confidence would take a huge hit

Nigeria going behind at half time is not even the issue right now, the main concern is that we can't even play good football, we are not even a threat.

That's not true. We played good football. What is lacking is ruthlessness. Each player knowing why he is on the pitch. Don't forget that this is a new coach using a competitive match to instill his ideology or philosophy if you like. Take for instance Moffi is playing like a true 2nd choice striker. His body language says it all. Tanimu I don't have issues with him but will need time to blend in. To fail to plan is to plan to fail
