Bad coaching aside, it's time to take a long and hard look at some of this crop of players we have...super-stars at their clubs but absolute wankerss for country. Boniface spends more time making banger (though admittedly funny tweets) on his X account that you wonder if he even finds the time to train in camp? Osimhen gives his all for Nigeria but can never be relied upon to be fit when we need him the most. Iwobi tries his best but I suspect he won't be able to handle the inevitable storm of stupid fans who will abuse him on social media, so he might prematurely either retire or outrightly refuse future call up's. Lookman will be Lookman, decent on his days and frustrating to watch on other days- too inconsistent to rely upon to give us moments of magic when needed.

That leaves us with a team that looks super talented on paper, yet seem to be lacking that winners mentality we used to see from previous SE teams.

Honestly I'll pick the Osaze/Yakubu/Emenike set over these players, at least those guys gave their all despite not playing for the best clubs across Europe. See how a player like Emenike played like his life depended on it, only Osimhen from this current set gives that type of dogged mentality.

We can still qualify from this group as the second or third best team and make the playoffs, but surely we need to go all out and get a experienced coach preferably foreign cause we simply don't have any good Nigerian coaches right now.

The team lacks a leader on and off the pitch there was a reason Ahmed musa was always being invited but we all said he’s a spent force.

We surely missed Ekong and Oshimen who were the leaders on the pitch at Afcon

Please you playing with my emotions cool.
It's not possible. Atleast not with a man who believes formation is not important in football.

No wonder he kept experimenting wrong positions.

Is Finidi trying to force the Nigeria premier league players on the SE ?

If Awaziem can't start ahead a defender playing for an average club in Tanzania

Then he should not have anything to do with the SE

Some call ups don dey fraudulent

If we had done the needful maybe we would have had a fighting chance

Not asking for Rohrs return. Just pointing out the ease of our qualification for tournaments.

did we use calculators during Rohrs time?
you forgot we laboured to qualify to the last round of 2022 wcq on the last day. The only reason we could play Ghana in the double header was a goalline clearance by ndidi and it's not as if we were playing some top nations ooo. Our group was composed of cape Verde, Liberia and C.A.R.. rohr that was usually breezing through qualifiers was now dragging points with low nations. From someone that used to qualify us to tournaments without issues, there were clear and sharp decline decline in his football and it won't have taken long that he won't even be able to qualify us to tournaments again. His last days were torture and his sack was justified.

J am happy you used the word “laboured” at least there was effort and heart. What do you call what we played today?

Fidihe figiti you fall hands of your believer seriously, when D Presence says you are abikus heads almost roll.

Today you were not only CLUELESS but also classless, technicaless tacticaless and moribundly smartless. You were outplayed by a rejected stone, though, him too not technically savvy.

Figiti, I eavesdrop and I heard that your head of employer is a soya beans farmer at Lafiaji and when he was FA chairman of Zamfara he doesn't come to work except when it is time to share money, that unconfirm report says.

His coming as NFF president to office, going forward, has been nothing but disaster.the unconfirm report says he comes to work around 10am and leaves office by 2pmso how can that be 0o

Hmm Nigeria ēku ìròjüoooo

We have been so unlucky! Awoniyi missed an open net against Lesotho. Likewise, Moffi missed a 92nd minutes 1v1 against SA. Today we conceded from a long ball and corner kick. lol! God of football is not on our side.

Ekong, Simon, Osimhen, Aina, and Onyeka. Half of a team starting 10 at AFCON are missing.

Look at the bench who were available? Fisayo injured, an unfit Boniface, and Onyeka.

We need to support Finidi! What would a foreign coach do better?
We need all our players back and fit!

We will win our remaining matches and qualify for the World Cup. Keep the faith.

Patriotism isn’t always about local solutions.

Patriotism is about wanting the best for the country even if the solution is foreign while also closing the recognized gaps and improving on the local solution to be at par with foreign solutions.

Our local media and NPFL apologist damaged SE.

His invitations are questionable, making series of mistakes, playing players out of position, and he is not interested in correcting his mistakes.
How do we support someone who will lead us to nowhere?

This particular defense of Taminu and co does not inspire confidence, unlike the defense of Ekon,Aina, even Sanusi.
So it affected him.

But he need to watch himself and not to allow his AFCON performance make him believe he has arrived

Okoye wouldn't have made any difference, Nwabali is more preferably on national duties

Four games without Victor Osimhen and most importantly his hunger, 3 draws, one loss.

When we are ready to have this discussion we will have it.

Cc Ekene
Abeg shift, when we needed osimhen the most against ghana, he was trying scissor kick instead of the ball in the net. Same osihmen that missed a one on one chance against Equatorial Guinea

Hmm we reached Afcon final with only cleared cut winning against Cameroon, pls go and watch our Afcon matches and see how negative we are even against average Africa teams …sir,Peseiro was a disaster though some may hit me for talking nonsense just cuz of Afcon final but in reality he failed woefully to give us better team after Rohr left and we are suffering from it now…Finidi or no Finidi the team needs real turn around not even now but for the future…..I remembered France failed to make it to 1990 and 94 WC but came out stronger but do we have NFF to give us better eagles,a puzzle.
You are the only one speaking the truth here. The others are NFF paid staff. They know themselves. One day the money go finish

Mk I hear peem say anybody hype local coaches and players here again
Kenneth Igboke guy from rangers is a LB instead he kept him on the bench and used osayi

Osimhen led us to AFCON final, the previous one he missed due to injury, we tried to reach the final in vain.

Osimhen is the most important player in this present team, his presence alone inspires others to work harder

I normally keep faith in people until they give me good reasons not to.

When i criticised Eguavoen severely for his speeches that revealed a lot about his incompetencies, i got lots of lash backs.

I criticised Finidi for his ignorant takes regarding how football should be played, many ganged up against me saying all manner of things.

You see the truth is not always with the majority.
Tell them. The truth cannot afford not to be bitter
