IMF told that man to float the naira, he hurriedly carried out and implemented the policy. Now just look at the repercussions. 😡 Not only are they smuggling petrol out, they are also smuggling foodstuffs out of the country. What did this Foolish man gain now from subsidy is gone and float of currency? Absolutely nothing. The more things change, the more they remain the same. 145 Likes 11 Shares |

Last year when I said Tinubu was putting the cart before the horse when he announced the subsidy removal, some people came for me... Here it is today, he was supposed to do his homework in the petroleum industry before removing subsidy which he has ran back to start paying even more while Nigerians are also paying more for the same value of petrol before his announcement and people are still looting recklessly from subsidy and smuggling petrol out of the country ... stonemasonn: Who trusts the IMF? The same man you supported into office, even as bad as Buhari was he never trusted them... read all your comments below and see how you put your trust in Tinubu, now you are trying to blame IMF and not Tinubu, tribalism has so finished you guys, your comments supporting and fighting for Tinubu are so much, I just picked a few... the red flags were too much for any right thinking person not to know what Tinubu had to offer.... https://www.nairaland.com/7584551/guys-peter-obi-loses-today#121208543 https://www.nairaland.com/7584433/why-blame-peter-obi-tinubu#121207019 https://www.nairaland.com/7587503/tinubu-takes-lead-abuja/1#121283839 https://www.nairaland.com/7579024/president-buhari-arrives-lagos-apc/1#121103961 39 Likes 1 Share

VeeVeeMyLuv: It's obvious you don't know a thing or you just feel like ranting this morning as you all always do. Are you saying petrol is not being smuggled out of the country when it was being subsidized? 🤣😂🤣 You must be one hell of a joker. The whole of our borders were filled with fuel smuggling business. Go and find out why there was a protest in Niger when the subsidy was removed so to speak. What most of you don't know is that, no matter what, fuel will be smuggled out of Nigeria to Benin and Niger because it is officially more expensive in those countries even if it is sold for 5k here. It is just unfortunate that our customs are almost useless and we also have lots of unmanned and illegal borders. 35 Likes 5 Shares |

This is what you get when you don't look through your plans thoroughly before executing it, as a leader you don't just enforce a policy you have to take time to check the pros and cons of such policies but this we country, naaa policy comes first and then we go begin go in circle dey find who to blame 8 Likes |

Trouble The culprit are the customs, politicians, immigration officers, police and the touts. These are the elements of destruction. But the oga kpata kpata of them all is president Tinubu, who allow these elements to smuggle our goods, sack the foolish customs covering those regions. The maradona is Dangote refinery; fuel will come today, come tomorrow, unborn today, die yesterday. Future uncertain. Which way Nigeria? 5 Likes |

Yet Tinubu, his ministers and advisers keep telling us there's no subsidy payment...... Imagine buying 25 liters of Petrol @ 17k at Idi-roko border, trek 5 minutes to Igolo and sell at 42k. 25k profit under 10 minutes..... Let Tinubu keep deceiving himself. 7 Likes 2 Shares |
