I thought Government said they aren't subsidizing petrol anymore. This is to show that they were lying. And it still shows that the government doesn't have a mapped out plan for the solution of our economic woes I always said Tinubu made a blunder by floating the Naira along side subsidy removal. He shouldn't have floated the naira after removal of subsidy. That would have enabled us have a sort of stable currency and stabilize the price of pms. 1 Like |

VeeVeeMyLuv: Guy shut up for once. Talk is cheap. You guys said he should take it back to 300 naira litrs but it's even at 700 naira plus , it's still being smuggled. Imagine its at 300. They just need to increase the salary to at least 100k minimum. |

That's around $0.415 a litre and means it is now cheaper than when it sold for round $0.4 or N180 a litre. Most of our problem boil down to corruption, disregard for law enforcement, and weak naira. Same border that food cant be smuggled in through to make them cheap locally is where fuel goes out through. Fantastically corrupt nation. 2 Likes |
