Guys

It over 20 working days since my biometrics. Aside from the empty nsf I got the next day, I haven’t heard anything since. I have done three paid calls including today, still no decision. It was also escalated last week. It’s just tiring.
I thought the number of student visa applications have declined, hence waiting times should be lesser. It seems reverse is the case.
Please does anyone have an idea what might be the case?

Please beware. The domain was only registered in December 2023. Money is hard to come by these days, so do your due diligence before you part it through unverified means.

My opinion.

Omo, I don’t know why they are now taking forever to make a decision oo. This is not the first time people are complaining about this same thing.

I believe they have tightened the verification process. Don't worry, you will get the visa soon.

When is your school resuming? That's how they frustrated my guy last year ending, even giving him 2 weeks interview time. They had already wasted his 2 weeks before the message.
The worse part is that he paid for priority. Finally the school cancelled his admission because of delays.

God won't let us face these kinds of delays o🙏

September

No wonder, they want to relax since you ain't in haste.

Could be a deliberate delays, because most people haven't applied including me.

Everyone's faith ain't always the same.

You can ask around from some who recently did theirs.

Be patient though, hopefully your visa approval will be out soon.

Hope the tls appointment wasn't that far.

I want to pay like today and do the biometric and submission the next day, hope that's possible?

mine is going to be 13 days today . I didn’t even receive a visa application confirmation email or any NSF. I completed NYSC in 2022 so I don’t have huge study gap either.

Out of curiosity , I had to just do a paid mail and all I got back within 5 minute was a generic email response.

The funny thing is, people that I know that did visiting visa got quick approval between 5-7 days.

Hopefully they listen. People hate to hear the hard truth.

Look elsewhere, Germany is free, Luxembourg and Iceland is almost like free and alot of EU countries. Make your research.

UK is hard at the moment.

Why is this forum full of negative energy ? If you are tired of the place .. then leave!!!!! and leave people that wanna go to go..

Cant imagine some yall waking up and logging in into nairaland just to come and be negative.. IF YOU ARE TIRED ..LEAVE!!!!!!

Everyone's experience cant be the same. You that you are migrating to a new place , you expect to find everything easy when you get there huh ?? You dont wanna pay the price huh

Na work den dey do for abroad oooo.. If you dont tire Leave !!! and let the people that wanna go through and endure the journey till things make sense should come!!!
Don’t mind them , it is so annnoying , they take so much effort to discourage others and tell them some reality whereas they pin there , nothing is easy but every chance to leave the damned country led by the evil bigoted propagandists APC , take it with both hands . People are getting old with no headway in this country . The longer you stay the more difficult and expensive it will be to leave .
Ignore the naysayers and don't let them bring you down! It's frustrating when others try to discourage us with their negative views. But remember, every challenge is an opportunity to grow stronger. If you have the chance to pursue your dreams and goals in another country, seize it with both hands! Don't let fear or negativity hold you back. The longer you wait, the harder it may become. Don't let others define your reality. Keep pushing forward and stay positive!"

I am in the US and I have visited the UK severally , but that’s not the point , stop this your unsolicited naysayers attitude . It projects you so wrongly . Stop pushing your negative opinions and spreading negativity here especially when nobody is asking for it

Y'all are not getting it. Me personally have not pushed anything. Nigeria is hard and japa is bold decision which is good.

All have been clamouring for is for people to look elsewhere like other EU countries so avoid had it been I know.

If you have all your tuition fee covered or full come from a wealthy home no worries. No problem at all, intact you won't regret anything in UK. Aside enjoyment

But if you not covered you gonna struggle cos tell me how you gonna cover school fee and house rent with 20hrs with no dependants. If na days wey dem allow dependants, it's very easy, e get as e bad reach the other person go see full time work plus your own 20hrs. You can easily pay school fer and house rent and ball join sef. But they've stopped all that.

Now talking of school please make your research. Dont go and pick school all in the name of cheap deposit that they will be asking for another money during enrollment. Please make your research. You all read what happened to our on people at Teesside university. Most of the school's are like that even after paying 90%

Nobody is giving negative energy, na just advice dem dey advice una.

I pray you all get the visa and get to our desired destinations. Ire ooo

Nobody is stoping anybody man. I pray everyone succeed.

In whatever you do ensure u have sufficient funds to cover ur fees otherwise u risk losing all to start from square 1 in Nigeria.

I think something is wrong with an average Nigerian.

Like I don't get it....

See as we explained to our people over and over again....they still don't get it.

Like .....is it too hard for them to comprehend the point we trying to make?

You tried to explain the reality to my people.....they'll start seeing u as a bad person.

I won't blame anyone. I felt this way before especially if anyone in abroad is advising against my wish of coming.

I always look for positive comments to remain strong.

But now I understand that what we actually wanted was just that plane flight experience or just to take pix n upload on Facebook as one who has been here and there but we aren't truly prepared for the real deal

With Nigeria situation rn, omo japa na the best option o but all me I'm saying is people should research on other EU countries that are relatively cheap compared to UK. I have friends who moved to Luxembourg and Iceland and all have heard from them is positive things.

I would still be struggling with school fee if not for the fact I was the last beneficiary of dependants.

I know what some of my guys who came alone are going through. The mental challenge, etc.

If not that Nigerians are built differently, some of them for don colo
