this is not the matter of masking corrections, he should resign for the nff to get another coach who has the ability to clean this mess as well as try all he can to qualify the team against all odds

I supported finidi’s appointment and even celebrated here when he got the job but that bros na arrogant and senseless donkey

If we sack Finidi now, we would be making the same mistakes we made with JPes
JPes also made mistakes, then he stumbled on a formula that worked for him and used it to get to AFCON finals
We let him go with all the knowledge he had

If we sack Finidi now, the instability will affect the players and possibly results (think Napoli this past season)

Let's stick with him and maybe the technical committee should monitor his call-ups from henceforth

Let's invite our best players in Europe and not all these half cooked players in Npfl and Tanzania leagues
Then we might have a chance

this attacking football will continue to hunt us if we are not careful, we don't have the full spine for that now, that's what Rohr and Paseiro saw and tried to manage but our arrogance that we have it all will continue to be our bane. If we like make we no hear word, we will continue to cry over what we don't have
the worst is even against the very best teams in the world myopic fans here will be craving for attacking football 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Omooo we need a win-at-all cost coach to pull this off o

Human relations is one aspect I'm personally thinking is affecting this team. He's been in the team since yet when he was announced top boss, it's like a gulf cracked up and morale dived.

At this point, Finidi has to go if we want to try win and stand a chance. He will NEVER be forgiven if we miss another world cup

Infact, unless these legends goan warm eba or go outside and touch grass, they should never be trusted with such delicate duties as top boss ever again. Whoever champions local coaches for this job is an enemy of the state imo going forward. Many factors contribute to this and lack of self awareness is there.

B2b wCq and na local coach wan cause am?

The cost of Jpes continuity vs the cost of missing out AGAIN....

If the players are low it is because the boss can't inspire enough confidence in them to want to do it better. Especially when he insists on a particular approach.

we said then that we needed a Lesson learned strategy from Afcon but all the attacking football analysts said it's anti naija football.

sticking with Finidi is a higher risk, am sorry he doesn't have the charisma to charge the boys forward. We have lost something huge after Afcon, the pattern Finidi is trying to play, we don't have the full personnel to execute as Finidi is trying to add something he thinks is missing from the Afcon experience. What he's trying is what Paseiro also tried before Afcon that did not work, make we no deceive ourselves

We were never going to beat South Africa and Benin, let's tell ourselves the truth..
Finidi's issues nothwithstanding, SA and Benin had been in camp for weeks training and perfecting team strategy and cohesion

Our own players strolled into camp late, thinking they would have it easy.

Finidi is the scapegoat and he may probably be sacked
But truth be told, we were never going to beat both teams with such lackluster behavior from our players
And it showed on the field
No fight, no urgency
See how Benin players wan die for pitch!

Funny how some still have faith in this current NFF.

Expect buck passing between the NFF, Sports Ministry and Coach between now and the next round of qualifiers.

The clueless Eguavoen may emerge as the interim head coach in February, 2025.

Some of these Ex-Intls should desist from hovering the SE coaching job like hawks..

Ihefu fc 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Nigerians, what do you think is special about this defender called Benjamin Tanimu that made the Coach of the Nigeria Super Eagles, Finidi George, to start him in the two games recently played by the Eagles?

The Coach didn't just start him, he left him on the field for 90 minutes in the two matches.

Now, who is this Tanimu?

He recently moved to Ihefu FC , a club in Tanzanian league from Bendel Insurance FC Official of Nigeria.

In the latest #CAF ranking of leagues domiciled in Africa, Moroccan league is the first, South African league is the 5th, Nigeria league is the 6th, and Tanzanian league is the 25th.

Why should a footballer who plays in the 25th ranked league in Africa be invited to the senior national team?

Tanimu is not just inexp*erienced, he is unexpos*ed, having come from an obsc*ure Tanzanian league.

It was noticed that instead of marking opponents, he was busy admiring them.

It takes just one incomp*etent defender to disorganize the entire defense line in a football match.

Such a person should not have received a call-up to the senior national team.

How did Finidi George even watch him in his club to ascertain his competence.

A good national team coach is not supposed to use important matches to promote an obs*cure player from an obsc*ure league.

In the last #AFCON, we had commanding defenders like William Troost-Ekong , Kenneth Omeruo, Ola Aina, Chigozie Awaziem, etc, in the defence line.

How come they are not part of the current team?

No wonder he fru*strated Daniel Amokachi out of the coaching crew in order to perpe*trate his agenda.

Finidi is no man of integrity,
he is suspicious of corruption.

He is likely promoting Tanimu to cash out,
I'm afraid I have to join people like Komkn to say this, ironically this is a man that Komekn sworn to be man of unquestionable character.

That Dossou even if he plays in Chadian league he is the best his country have

Is Taminu the best we hv in his position? Are u too daft to reason?

I still maintain that if finidi gave the chance he gifted Taminu to an Enyimba defender it would hv been justifiable that atleast the said player played under him when he was in charge of the Aba based npfl club. Insinuating such doesn’t imply that I wanted that.

How on earth did Taminu become a starter in the super eagles all of a sudden when we had defenders who did well in the just concluded season in europe? Is Taminu better than Ndah who shone for SA giants Orlando pirates 🏴‍☠️?

As for Sodiq u hyped him so much here that I longed for his debut in the super eagles to see how good he is

So in essence what you are saying is Tanimu made us lose the game? I be wan jump and pass before but this one wey u talk no join. Simply say you have no space for any player you do not ratify. While I am not exonerated Finidi, it's a matter of perspective. If we had won the match, you'd still single out Tanimu as useless. That, my friend is called bias.

Ok mk I ask u, did Ihefu sorry I mean Taminu got to almighty super eagles on merit?

If it was on merit who scouted him? U dey watch Tanzanian league?

Imagine u re finidi will you take such risk to field and inexperience defender in important games like the World Cup qualifiers?

Football is not won by So called " better players "

It is set up

Now what is set up?

You are going for world cup qualifiers and do not appoint a coach.
You allow the previous coach's contract to lapse two games into the campaign before appointing a coach in the middle of the campaign after two shameful draws
Finidi took two friendly games . Was he provided with assistants or resources? No he was alone
During those friendlies did the players all turn up?
Even now will be be allowed the same assistants that Peseiro had. Learn to was not doing coaching, tactics ,drills etc by himself. He brought his people and even Finidi was part of that

Finidi is just there as the face of the person Nigerians can vent against you need to look deeper

If you want to blame a coach for a failed qualifiers
Appoint him from the beginning and provide his needs

Which serious team is appointing a coach at this stage?

Finidi is not the problem
Look deeper at the NFF
Do not forget Peseiro drew against Lesotho and Zimbabwe.
It is not apparent that he would have done any better.

The issue with Nigerian football is not sort term
Qualifying for World Cup in 2026 is irrelevant to me

The focus should be on getting the right set up for the future

Wise man no problem

Please choose Salami over VO and Boniface and use predominantly player's from the NPFL and see how far you will.get.

That guy Benjamin Tanimu supposedly 21, will struggle in English semi professional non league.

Finidi needs to be more assertive and stop 🛑 doing favours for NFF godfathers. The buck stops with him no matter what happens.
