Look at the hefty sums the oil producing states are receiving.

And they have the audacity to claim they can't pay 60k??

Delta for instance is accruing staggering 37b!! that is more than 6 states combined!! shocked

Do you even understand how finance works? Do you know the number projects, grants, recurrent expenditure, debt servicing etc that will come out of that monthly sum? Do you think they can make minimum wage 250k a month and still meet their financial obligations?

NLC is fighting a dangerously stupid war and Nigeria will become the next Zimbabwe if care is not taken.

So Obaseki only got a megre 10 billion yet he has been paying 40k minimum wage before he resently increased it to 70k.
Governors that are earning more than him have even refused to implement the 30k minimum wage.

Hate him or like him but what I know is that Edo workers and pensioners will for ever be grateful to Obaseki.

I am surprised. I thought states received more than these figures.

A state with 7 million people cant do much with N8 billion.

When you subtract at least 20% that will be stolen by politicians and civil servants, there is not much left.

Nigeria has a long way to go.
