Just last week banks like Union Bank, Polaris , etc. were addressing rumors that suggested their licenses were about to be revoked like Heritage bank's. They didn't have to call it silly rumors before addressing it.

The same Microsoft can issue a statement tomorrow or in the coming days addressing the rumor.
