floating it was inevitable but the steps taken after the float is the main issue here. Fuel smuggling too has resumed so all talks of Nigeria subsidising our neighbours being a thing of the past were temporary.

I agree with you regarding insecurity. But Nigeria had neglected agriculture for so long even before the current herdsmen issue.
Every agrarian community in Nigeria should be able to have a place where farmers can at least rent equipment for a small fee. Cutlass and hoes cannot achieve the needed results anymore.

Do not forget the difference between the official rate and the black-market rate was close to if not more than 300 naira and it was clear that there was roundtrippiing. So armed with that info, what would have done differently?
