Gajagojo: Stop living in the past move on Westerhoff and the likes have moved on You think if you’re not technically acute and comfortable on the ball a top team will sign you keep playing catch up You say epl has molded and inferiority complex on us Man you better buckled this ain’t 1994 Every team is physically as strong as Nigeria if not better physicality won’t win you jack sh|t Ask our Npfl teams why no champions league Instead of finding a way to integrate the white man style of play into our structure You’re talking about dead people 1994 Omo I’m dead 😵 Call the 1994 to come play today na 4 Likes 2 Shares |

9JAMac10:if everyone adapts and does the same thing who will win? Those are just words they have no meaning We are not good enough today and so we must plan for the future The most important thing is not international tournaments only one team can win but a Football economy that creates jobs . That is more important than winning a tournament that always has elements of luck So the Premier league is bigger than the leagues in Spain Brazil Argentina or France How is their National team doing? So that is the basic Develop a league that is watchable by Nigerians. If that happens the National team will follow suit Man United is over 100years old Let us start somewhere The same feeling a gambler has on an unrealistic bet is what Nigerians have when watching the Super Eagles. They are poor. Bitter truth We need to end wishful thinking 1 Like |

It's over. SA is locking in and Benin will get a W down the line against Lesotho, Zim or Rwanda. All Finidi had to do was clinch a W against Benin to keep us alive and he botched it. 2 Likes |

Clinching automatic berth is completely out of our hands. But, we have a good chance to qualify via playoffs if we win the next round of games.

Goke7: Na so now…assuming we had one of d likes of Ghana 🇬🇭, cameroon 🇨🇲, Tunisia 🇹🇳 , or Morocco 🇲🇦 dt re masters in world cup qualifiers ,Dt hardly lose game .I for don throw in the towel since match 2 of our qualifiers, but look at d same mumu countries in our group losing points up and down ,so do u think dey won’t drop any point again in d 2nd phase of the qualifiers? All we need to do is to rejig the technical team ,invite serious players and we are good to go |

Marjoribanks: Are you saying the opponents had better player than Nigeria? How many times did our two point men struggle for the same ball instead of one running behind in anticipation of a drop ball? That is a pointer that there was no pattern. They just assembled the team and let them play as they like. |

elyte89: This is a group where normally Nigeria should qualify with a game or two to spare but here are we today almost rock bottom... I feel for some of the players who might never get the chance to play in the world cup in their prime. NFF's interest stems more from the largesse from FIFA for qualification. 1 Like 1 Share |

elyte89:We just need to win all our matches, because i don't see South Africa going six matches unbeaten, even Rwanda and Benin don't have the mental strength to do that it's never over until is over. Finidi should invite the old guards our back line lack experience. |

Someone should please stream Angola vs Cameroon. It's currently 60'; scores: 1-1. This game shows what a good coach can do to a team. Angola wan finish Cameroon in total game domination and control. Morocco deh use Congo statpad. Morocco leading by 6 goals to NIL. |

komekn: Joebie: If there was corruption, godfatherism, tribalism, favouritism, nepotism then Finidi would have never gotten the S.E job it will be Ndubuisi Egbo that would have gotten the job.. if there was tribalism then the N.F.F will be filled with mainly Igbos, Yorubas and Hausas if there was tribalism then the S.E would have topped the group because the Igbos, Yorubas would have done everything to ensure their foreign born players are capped.. how would Eze, Tella be invited and not capped that is madness.. if there was tribalism then the S.E would have a playing pattern because most of the players will come from one ethnic nation and would understand each other better the same way the Catalans helped Spain win the Euros and World Cup and created a playing pattern that the whole of Spain has adopted and integrated if it was Nigeria another ethnic nation would have rubbished and talked down on the pattern.. if there was tribalism then the S.E would play as a unit because most of them will come from the same academy.. the only way S.E can do well is for both government and private sector to invest in training facilities... that's the way France gets people from different cultures to blend and play well and they also maintain the Coach Deschamps that took them to finals... You cannot get people from different cultures who don't train together often and don't have a playing and coaching pattern to dominate games they will have to play Mourinho or Simeone pattern of football.. If I pick a team based on corruption, godfatherism, tribalism, favouritism, nepotism and with foreign born players then my starting 11 will be: Karim Adeyemi as LSS Elijah Adebayo or Osimhen as CF Lookman as CAM/SS Saka as RW/RSS ( if he wasn't capped by england ) or Amoo regardless of his issues. Onyedika as CM Tijani or Onyeka as DM Osho or Udogie as LB Alaba as CB Akanji or Ekong as CB Ola Aina as RB Okoye as GK |

Ppogbae: What do you mean an automatic berth is out of our hands? If we win our remaining 6 games there’s a chance to top the group. We should focus on that alone. Playoffs is a long thing. First you have to win two legs to be the CAF representative. Then you have an inter confederation playoff as well before qualifying for the WC. Let’s focus on what we have infront of us. |
