Now this is how to present things without being too encouraging or discouraging. People can now decide if they’re ready to face the consequences of relocating or staying in Nigeria. It’s different for everyone. We all should just do proper research, plan well, PRAY REALLY HARD and make the decision to go or to stay.

No one is discouraging anyone here. If you understood the guy you quoted well you should have deduced from his post that his uncle already paid almost all of his tuition and you don't even know if he is living with his uncle which means he has no problem with feeding and accommodation which will make things easier for him.

Ask yourself this question do you have 90% or full tuition? Do you have enough money to pay for 6 months rent when you land here cause the work migrants use to start life like care work, warehouse, factory are now scarce value. Let alone the 20hrs limit on your BRP. 20hrs work can't foot all your bills with humongous school balance. Do you have uncle or aunty that will come to your rescue if things don't go as planned?

People here sounding alarm are doing it out of love. Even me that I have most of my tuition fee sorted out I am still depressed cause this is my 4th month in the UK as a student without job my sneakers are about to tear. Good luck.

I believe people just want those that are coming to know the reality here, however everybody won't have the same experience, that's just life. People say getting corporate jobs is impossible as a student but I can bet there would be students that still get that and work 20 hours in an office setting.

Anyone coming also, please if you work in a tech friendly company you can also try and talk to your manager to retain your job and work remotely. I know guys who did this and still get paid in their workplace in Nigeria no matter how small.

Also, an easy way to get a free DBS/some work experience is to join a volunteer organization in care. NHS usually has such volunteer positions.

14 or 14 working days. No matter, waiting times is 15 working days so you shouldn’t be worried yet. Mine is now 23 working days.
Even my account officer said they haven’t been contacted; which begs the question, do they contact banks in all cases?
Infact it’s 15 working days if I add the end of today. Applied on May 23. I have been reading posts where visitors are getting fast approval . I should have just applied for priority cos this long wait is tiring. No single email from them since I applied. No NSF , no notification, nothing. Another thing I’m thinking is , could it be because I declared my previous Canadian student refusal ? . So many things just running through my mind .. All is well

Though this was for October intake last year. My brother paid priority and waited almost 2 months. He also did an interview before he got his visa and they never called his bank to ask. May yours not be so. I’m just giving a personal example in respect to your question. They may or may not call the bank.

Well that corporate or office job you talk about is a capital NO for student in my city. I have tried them and whenever they call or email and they discover I am a student what they usually tell me is I should apply again when I am done with school. One still called me last month after applying the first question was the type of visa I hold I told her tier 4 immediately she replied "student visa?" I said "yes" she said she is sorry that they don't employ students and I can apply again when I am done with school. I don't know other parts of UK o before they say I am discouraging people. I don't give advice I am only here for solution to my own problem, connect and take advice from people who know the way.

Every application is treated on its merit. Better declared than undeclared. All am saying is you shouldn’t be worried since people who applied before you never hear anything

It was horrible that time because the fluctuations kind of started around or a little before that time. I thank God it worked out. All that mental and emotional torture and they didn’t call the bank. But others in his school group that time claimed their banks were called.

Contrary to what you may believe, the reality is not visible to a lot of ppl, that's why the note of warning keep getting rang. Some are plainly not aware, for others agents are lying to them.
So the awareness has to be sounded loud and clear, it can save someone

What's irritating is you guys making this whole thread about "the reality" and advise. You've done very well. Kudos.

I'll look past your poor attempt at sarcasm and say you are welcome.
I will still definitely answer questions that I know answer to, especially with the dude looking for payment pathways to which I recommended two, but when the situation presents itself I'll always talk about "the reality"

But make una REST. Everyday Cho Cho Cho. fullclub no know pass to dey send unsolicited links and thread.

This is a very interesting thing to say, very interesting. Those threads Fullclub is posting is to further drive home the point, esp for doubting Thomases and small minded fellows who THINK that he or she is just talking because he is enemy of progeess. Apparently those posts of his or hers is striking a nerve in feeble minds, hence the backlash, especially from that lying fellow called Damilare

Afterall people told you guys too not to come. You people too were guilty of POF runs. Wrap it up

Errr....
Just to clarify any hallucinations you or any of you may be having concerning how I moved to the UK, I didn't have to do POF runs or migrate in this "corner corner" way some of you have done, or are planning to do (I'm not against it, man has to do what he has to do, but I'm just setting the record straight to anyone having a wet dream to that effect)

I'm just concerned for ppl because I AM TIRED of Nigerians begging me for £20 just to stay afloat, or the ones who will go distracting their lineages at food banks and doing other messed up things out here.
I AM TIRED of having to pick calls of crying students who don't know what to do next, or the one calling me to ask about how he can make his way to Belfast then enter Ireland seeking asylum.
I'll respect people privacy and desist from posting my chat rooms here, but if you could see it, you will be disgusted to ur stomach

At the end of the day, a typical Nigerian no kuku get sense, he will still make decisions against his best interests then seek to blame village folks when it boomerangs

I'll focus on answering questions when I can, especially when it comes to schools to avoid (from the Intel I get from associates here) to payment pathways for those who may need it

Warm Regards everyone

Hello Sir, I hope I have answered some of your questions. I would like to reach you privately to share the full details

My brother just come out straight and tell us you got the "physics trainee teacher" bursary. Stop beating around the bush and adding claims of a promised job. No one dey promise anyone job.

While there's a high possibility of getting a job, it's not promised neither is it guaranteed.

For anyone interested just google "train to teach Physics in the UK" you'll get all the information.

A course base program

Do you have an idea of an international student friendly school I can choose in the UK that's not so expensive for my master degree?

I am not someone like Michelle Obama that will say when they go low, we go high....
when they go low, I go underground and smear the unfortunate souls with faeces.

A poor church rat with double digit IQ, morally bankrupt and half educated is triggered that people are sounding notes of warning to people (which btw for the most part was done in civil manner)
The feeble minded twats because their morally bankrupt minds are being pricked by such messages, they have to respond and lash out at the messengers instead of taking note of the message.
If they were polite enough in their responses to those who were posting those messages, the thread would not have degenerated to this point.

But no, because they have imprisoned themselves in their minds, that Nigeria is a jail that they must break out from by all means, all manners of sensibilities have flown out of their head, that's if they even have such sensibilities in the first place

the person may think he is in hell fire in Nigeria, but when you come here and face hell in a foreign , cold country, your eye will clear

From what I know, you actually can. but you have to be swift
there are January 2025 entries if you don't mind, you can go for them IF you miss the September/October intake.

Try schools in the North of England, they are more inclined to take late applications, and tbvh, because of the drop in applications, they will most definitely pick you.....
If you can get your transcripts on a moments notice even better

you don't mean well for the people on this thread. You're a big fool who hypes himself too much. People will face different realities when they go abroad and for your information 3 of my siblings are their and doing very well for themselves. Not to even talked about my friends that are over there too. Stop the unsolicited advice, if they deport them is not the end of life, allow people make their choices without putting unnecessary fare in them. Yes, if you start now. I started my application around May 25, I applied to 9 schools, 8 out of the 9 schools have given me admission, while the last one is asking me for work reference. So if you start now, you will definitely be able to get into 1 or 2 programmes.

bros this guys and his likes comes to this page to complain virtually everytime about what people are facing in UK which I believe is none of his business. Life is not a bed of roses, same way few are complaining many are excelling. My point is if at all he want to advice people not to come to UK, it should be on another page not on this page that people comes to seek advice on how to process their admissions. As much I know he's a nobody to other people on this platform and doesn't have any reason to influence whatever decisions they decide to take with their money. You're there doing well and yet you're discouraging others not to come, is that not witchcraft. So far you're going to UK on studies even if you're not able to pay your school fees, there are still other ways to extend your stay either through marriage or other. Until you get there, that's only when you can explore other options. I have a friend that failed his masters and the only way he's been able to remain was through marriage. Nigeria is hell on it's own but here you're coming here every day to discourage others not to come. you wish others happiness end in tears for taking a bold steps to better their lives. You're a compound fool, anybody keeping you as a friend will end up regretting because you'll never wish them well. No matter what you do, white people will never rate Africans, most of their developmental strides comes from blacks manpower, so that will never change anytime soon. Allow people to take their chances for growth because nothing is promised, quit being a pessimist because literally it'll affect your own growth too. Peace
