I just don't get it why we don't have an "Offences against the person" law which criminalizes transmission of STDs, including HIV, reckless endangerment in the case of exposure but not contraction. It would protect a lot of people from problems but for now, a person could still sue if he were infected in such conditions but no criminal punishment. I think that law is in Enugu
