Quick one: To move away from the Super Eagles shambolic performances in the World Cup Qualifiers, the brighter side is that the Super Falcons begin their Olympics campaign next month. The odds will be against us 🆚 every team we'll play in our group, but we can trust our girls not to Lesotho, Zimbabwe, South Africa and Benin the whole thing! 🥲 Our Super Falcons will go into the Olympics with a 15-streak unbeaten run round their waists and will do their best to shake the world even more than how they did at the World Cup! 💪🏾 Below is our group again, a very quick reminder. Soar high Falcons 🦅🇳🇬 4 Likes

Deltamani: Is she staying there an extra year. I know she's there on a short loan. |
Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Deltamani: 10:39am On Jun 13 |
lovewins: I will prefer she stays there or better move over to a bigger Club and not returning to Tigress 🐯 Tigress Coach will continue to favour Mexico National Team forward Stephanie Mayor ahead of her… Evelyn is young and needs playing time to either continue with Sweden main team or Nigeria. 1 Like |

Deltamani: Why the mass exodus. I had to go check if they relegated but they didn't. Did pretty well too. |
Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Deltamani: 2:30pm On Jun 13 |
lovewins: They did finished well… @7th position. To be sincere I didn’t even expect Saint Etienne to finish in that position, I was thinking they might be relegated or narrow escape because of the Strength in their Squad, Regina Otu and Amanda Mbadi were key players with Otu playing 20 League games with 1 goal and Amanda 15games and 1 goal.. Yewande only played 1 league game. 1 Like |

lovewins: With the US having another Div1 (USL Super League) just like the NWSL in August, I guess Yewande Balogun (34yrs) might be heading back to the US…. , As for Amanda Mbadi (25yrs) One of the talent Randy Waldrum unveiled earlier on should be having a bigger move within the French league alongside Regina Otu (27yrs), Otu deserves to play in a top 5 club in any of the Big leagues in the World. She’s very good! 1 Like

Deltamani: Opening room for French girls. I hope Regina and Amanda find clubs in France. Paris FC wouldn't be a bad option for Regina although my hope is that they get Christy Ucheibe |
Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Deltamani: 3:39pm On Jun 13 |
BascoVanVeli:I don’t think Paris Fc can pay off the Signing Clause for Christy Ucheibe and again her Market value is higher than Regina Otu’s own. Ucheibe to Chelsea, Arsenal, Man City, Lyon, PSG or Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid should be the options.. 1 Like |

BascoVanVeli: Don’t think is about Opening room for French girls, 14 players announced their departure. It’s either they negotiated for a better Contract and Saint Etienne didn’t meet up or they want a better competition elsewhere.. I haven’t forgotten what Esther Okoronkwo said about the pay there..! Again in that same French league FC FLEURY 91 and MONTPELLIER HSC are another top 5 Clubside there .. 1 Like |

Paris 2024 Olympic Games: SuperFalcons Have Big Ambitions - Oshoala Super Falcons forward Asisat Oshoala has expressed the team's ambition to not only navigate through the so-called "group of death" but also to Speaking to FIFA.com, the six-time African Women's Player of the Year conveyed the team's high confidence and readiness to compete at the highest level. "At the World Cup last year, people said the same thing. They said we were in the Group of Death [with Australia, Canada, and the Republic of Ireland] and could not qualify. But we did," Oshoala recalls. I have a lot of confidence in this team. We have many young players, and we can make things difficult for our opponents." "We don't just think about getting out of the group; I think we can actually walk away with a medal," the 29-year-old concluded. The women's football tournament is set to kick off on July 25, a day before the Olympic Games' opening ceremony, with the Super Falcons starting their campaign against Brazil. 3 Likes 1 Share

Deltamani: ACL Injury is a Bastard Imagine Megan Rapinoe on the Left Wing, Alex Morgan no.9 and Tobin Heath on the Right wing… USA best trio in recent years especially the 2019 World Cup with Christen Press the regular sub for either of them on the flank and Carli Lloyd for Morgan… Press gave an interview yesterday that she and heath haven’t retired from the National team that they’re coming back… I don’t think she and Press still stands a better chance of coming back to the US squad considering their age ((Press 35yrs and Heath 36yrs)) and the Youngsters they have upfront now Swanson, Smith, Rodman and the rest .. 3 Likes |

BREAKING!!! Finidi George In and Out? The Executive Committee of Nigeria Football Federation held a meeting on Wednesday, 12th June 2024 in hybrid mode to deliberate on important issues in Nigeria Football and resolved as follows: 1) The Executive Committee wholeheartedly apologized to Nigerians for the dismal output and subsequent very poor returns of the Senior Men National Team, Super Eagles, in four out of 10 matches in the ongoing qualification series for the 2026 FIFA World Cup finals, and pledged to work assiduously and put necessary measures in place to ensure a better-prepared squad ahead of the AFCON 2025 qualifiers in September this year and the resumption of the World Cup qualifiers in March 2025. 2) Further to (1) above, the Executive Committee resolved to employ an expatriate Technical Adviser for the Super Eagles in the coming weeks, ahead of the AFCON qualifiers and the remaining FIFA World Cup qualifying matches. 3) Still further to (1) above, the Committee resolved to beef up the NFF Technical Department with more qualitative hands. Equally, the Technical and Development Sub-Committee will be re-jigged with immediate effect. 4) Notwithstanding the challenges that attended the team’s preparations for the Day 3 and Day 4 games of the FIFA World Cup qualifying matches, owing to a 38-hour nationwide industrial action, the Board expressed displeasure with the poor attitude of some of the players to the National Assignment, and unanimously decided in favour of a more robust scouting programme of outstanding Nigeria-eligible players from across the four corners of the universe, who can add tremendous value to the nation’s flagship team. 5) The Executive Committee also resolved that a Stakeholders’ Forum be convened in a few weeks’ time, to deliberate on amendments to the current NFF Statutes, in conjunction with world football-governing body, FIFA. 6) While appreciating the fact that preparation of teams involved in the Olympic Games fall squarely within the purview of the Federal Ministry of Sports Development, the Executive Committee stated unequivocally that it will provide robust support, within the room allowed it, to the Senior Women National Team, Super Falcons, to adequately prepare for this year’s Women’s Olympic Football Tournament, taking place in France 24th July – 11th August. 6) In order to ensure an impressive performance of the U20 Women National Team, Falconets, at this year’s FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup finals in Colombia, 31st August – 22nd September, the Executive Committee mandated its Technical and Development Sub-Committee to diligently and swiftly consider the programme submitted by the Head Coach for the team’s preparation. The Board approved a two-phase camping for the team, with a four-week camping in Nigeria to be followed by a two-week final camping programme in Colombia before the commencement of the tournament. 7) Impressed by the performance of the U17 Women National Team, Flamingos, so far in their FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup African qualification series, the Executive Committee charged the Secretariat to ensure total readiness of the team for its final round, final leg encounter against their Liberian counterparts, scheduled for the MKO Abiola National Stadium, Abuja on Friday, 14th June 2024. 2 Likes |

🇪🇸🇫🇷🏴🇩🇪🇺🇸🇸🇪🇯🇵🇨🇦🇧🇷🇰🇵 The latest #FIFARanking has dropped! 📲 ••• This is where the European teams have an advantage given they're playing qualifiers for the 2025 EUROS. So I'm not surprised the US dropped below Germany despite winning the Women's Gold Cup and She Believes Cup. ••• You have to beat teams rank higher than you to gain this massive points ••• Still wondering how Korea DPR🇰🇵 (North Korea) are in top10, while Australia ain’t there.. ••• NFF give us those top20 teams for friendly games and I’m very much certain than not more than 5 can beat the SuperFalcons hands down.. Defensively we have improved a lot, Randy just need to find the best trio that work well for us upfront..! Especially at No.9 and Kanu’s Position… Use Friendly games to try One or two of this forwards.! 2 Likes 1 Share
