(1)You will become a minority In a region where ijaws and ibibios will dominate, and we all know how Nigeria treats minorities in its political sphere.

2)Anti-igbo sentiments will rub on you, Nigerians in general believe Igbo's are domineering in nature, see how ikwerres dominate rivers state and how aniomas dominated the old Midwest, other minorities will never let that happen in the south south.

If they end up in South East, worst will happen to them. They are better off being known as a distinct ethnic group

There is nothing like South South Region or South East Region, the Nigerian constitution only recognises 36 states and 774 local governments

is it the south east on the map that you meant or the one in real life? Because some of the people killed are Igbos by Igbos.

Military were killed and not civilians

You don't expect freedom fighters to stop an army man and ask him their village before attacking them in war

Asari said they are Ijaw slaves and they ran away in fear.

Ijaws will rule them. They will continue as colonial masters after Yoruba and Hausa-Fulanis have finished their rule.

Right from Buhari's time, Igbos were killing Igbos in the name of their own struggle. They even killed their own couples who were not in uniform or armed simply because they were serving in the military. They attacked and killed some Igbo police men walking on the street without any weapon. They even burnt down houses of their own people, kidnapped and beheaded their own people in the name of struggle. Guy, do your research well.

They'll be very safe with land-grabbing ipo..bs.

Just as their forefathers experienced when they were lumped together with Biafrans by British colonialists into an Eastern Region.
