Eyah!

Back then, I did 75hrs weekly (12.5hrs per day/ 6 days a week..20.00-08.30) during off term as a children residential support worker.

Had only one 15 year old in the residence, who had already eaten her dinner, in her bedroom, chatting with her friends over the phone and watching TV by the time I was to start my shift at 8p.m.

Spent the entire waking night, seated in the lounge having mugs of tea, watching Netflix on the big screen there and working on my dissertation....all I had to do, was be the adult awake in the house during the night and the company offered sponsorship for FREE, got it and still graduated from school then switched to another free sponsorship....LIFE WAS GOOD!

honestly I pity new student entrants
and inflation never bad as e don bad now

only if guys did not abuse the system

BTW who wan give u 75 hrs for this climate?

This is one thing with Japa. If you hesitate, even if you later become successful with the Japa, you might not find it as easy to settle as previous entrants and Nigeria is completely finished at the moment now.

With the UK experience already achieved, there are so many daily job alerts I get, that match my skil sets and it reinforces the need to study what is in high demand in the UK, if coming through study route and can tell you for free, anything around children is a sure bet.

Till this very day, a child who lives in care (taken from his/her family because of abuse/neglect) is big money...the local authority places the child/young person in a children residential home run by highly regulated companies. They may decide the child/young person will be the only child/young person in the house, so it is solo placement.

The child/young person will live in a three bedroom duplex one bedroom for the child/young person, second bedroom will serve as office then third, the sleep in room for the staff. The house must be well fitted and there must be a car for the house to take the child/young person around.

In that house, there would be a house manager, deputy house manager, team leader and 5 to 6 support workers....all working around that one child/young person

The child/young person will be given weekly money for clothing, money for activities, pocker money, money for toiletries, every month money for hair salon, monthly phone subscription. The kitchen will be stock with food for both the child/young person and the staff.

Some local authorities pay at least £60,000 monthly to the company for that one child/young person living in their house....£60,000, that is about the taxes paid monthly by about 200 factory workers here in the UK for just only one child/young person living in care, to live comfortably...LIFE NO BALANCE AT ALL! wink

Yes, if you start now. I started my application around May 25, I applied to 9 schools, 8 out of the 9 schools have given me admission, while the last one is asking me for work reference. So if you start now, you will definitely be able to get into 1 or 2 programmes.

No, I haven't received this before. But more recently, it is becoming more common especially on dependant route. A friend who is an immigration lawyer told me. Especially if the main applicant didn't include you in his application (as dependent/potential dependant initially)

I will not share the meeting ID and passcode with anybody. It's a personal invite to you and UKVI. All the best.

I am looking at schools that will not harass for payments sha
from what I hear from associates, Bradford are not quick to harass ppl for outstanding payments....
while looking for "cheap schools"; also consider student support and benevolence.

Imagine Teeside Uni saying they will pay flight ticket back home for students owing ?
is it not better to keep them for them to "find" the money and pay than to spend money to get them deported then lose out on all the income.....
these guys eh

With all you stated. That's where those two schools I mentioned comes in.

I have been sounding this... There is no student jobs anywhere. It's all over UK.
Most employers don't use their ear to hear student. Factories don't take students.

My people take note of this. If u are a full time then u can get jobs in certain restricted areas.

But cleaning, kitchen porter, care assistant etc u go apply ture and start to wonder.

Anyone coming now should rake mind off jobs then if the job comes fine and if it doesn't then fine.

Did u try hull? That school never troubled Nigerians, they didn't locked portal. Give it a trial
Students can easily get teaching assistant job.

I just started my PoF process and I am doing it in Pounds. Would it be a problem to have the £18,000 pounds in my dom account during the visa process?
I have not yet received my CAS.
Re: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 9 by AquilaW: 1:17pm On Jun 15
Please is it wise to deposit money into your account after your large sum deposit (PoF money) has been sent into your account?
I am planning to do so but I read in another thread that it could be flagged because you’ll be asked to explain the origin of the deposit.

PLEASE HELP!

If you apply through an agent not need for POF before CAS, but if you apply yourself, you’ll need one.

If I get you correctly, you want to pay tuition deposit. It’s £5,500 after which you will get an Unconditional offer. Then you will be eligible to apply for CAS. But you must have your TB test and POF of the required amount for 28days. (I don’t know anything about using agents and it’s benefits)
Re: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 9 by Vikkystar(f): 2:47pm On Jun 15
Pls does anyone know a financial institution that lends money with interest in Nigeria? I want to use it to complete my tuition fee, I have more than half of my tuition and also a place to stay over there.
I want to pay my tuition in full so that I would just be paying back the debt and not worry about outstanding fees issues that is currently affecting students in the UK.
My course is within the health sector and i have experience as a caregiver and a cardiorespiratory physiologist in Nigeria, I was told i would be able to get a job in both field as it is under short occupation.
Pls I need help with the student loan.

You will be better off, pushing for relocation via skilled work visa not studies as you are already skilled in a field that is under shortage, not limiting your search to the NHS.

I have tried the skilled visa route, no positive reply yet maybe because my years of experience is not much. I have one year and half experience in physiology i.e nysc and internship, while I have 3 years experience as a caregiver.
I also want to use this masters program to up my skills in my sector as we have limited offer here in Nigeria.

There's no problem with deposit after your POF starts running however, you may be subjected to provide the SOURCE of the deposit which you may not have a definition for. So avoid it if you have to, there's no problem with debit, but make sure your required POF doesn't go below what you need. Not even with 1 pound.

There's no problem having your POF in Pounds. Infact, you'll be dwelling in peace because you won't be worried about Naira/Pounds fighting each other. But make sure it's in your personal account or your parent's account.

Hello everyone , I'm a silent reader of this forum and i want to appreciate everyone for the great information's shared on this platform.
I applied on the 23rd of May and i didnt receive any application received confirmation email from the UKVI.
When i tracked in the TLS ..It states that my application has been transferred to the DMC.
I know ideally, it usually takes 15 days for the decision to be made but i am worried and i am currently on the 10th day .

Should i email the UKVI or give them a paid call?

Also i declared a past visa denial from Canada last year and i attached a letter of explanation of why i was rejected and decided not to re apply to Canada. Most people i have seen got thier visas in less than 10 days.. I am just worried. cry cry

Chief! Congratulations on your Visa. Can you share the "letter of explanation of why you were rejected".

mail: soled.lotto0h@icloud.com
