I just thought to update everyone on my Visa waka since this is where I came crying. They denied me multiple times for no reason, the last one they waited for my return date to reach and told me that my since my return date has elapsed hence they denied me(Anyways they mad) mind you this was an online application that cost me 87 dollars each time I applied ( Mad pple)

Anyways I decided to apply for the sticker visa not the e-visa , they granted me visa and gave me a visa for Four months, This is my first time applying to SA and they also gave me for multiple entry.

Anyways, I have already travelled and even returned , it was a multicity trip, so I went to Joburg and then flew from Joburg to Capetown.

There is no point trying to buy rand here. You can always exchange at the airport. When i came back I had some rand, I sold it at the airport and to naira and returned home

Also if you have dollars, I will advise you to just use ur dollar card, because it is more like a cashless economy hence no point even carrying rand about.

To those who were kind to answer my questions when I asked, many thanks....Cheers to many more travels & applying for visa without agents.

Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by hunee: 9:42am On Jun 19
There is only one passport for traveling globally which is international passport. However, ecowas has a passport too which you can get almost immediately at the immigration offiice. so try talk to an officer for guidance. Thank you

Yes, benin , you can get it. No, you can not use it for South Africa. I am not sure of the cost. Further guidance from an immigration officer is advised. Have a good day

What time of issue are you having? Your international passport is all you need to travel outside the country. There is nothing like immigration passport. Shine your eyes so they no go gba you

What was the reason for rejection initially?
Once all your required documents are in order and your Proof of Fund, I don't think you can be refused

They said the police report I submitted wasn't valid and also they made a mistake with the visa type, instead of study visa my application was put under visitation so I don't know where that mix up happened. This was last year though

If that's the case, just ensure that you get your Police Report 2weeks before submitting your visa application, then on ur study visa application, ensure you actually tick study visa and select Long Term Visa category on VFS page whenever you want to book.
I got mine last month in less than 4wks.
Your statement of Account must be signed & Stamped physically at the bank not just to carry digital stamp. Then bank reference letter must accompany the statement.

bros, send a mail to hacc@dha.gov.za
Explain yourself via mail to them.

Is anyone experiencing issue accessing the e-visa portal?
It keeps saying my login details are wrong when it is not and eventually connected once.

Good day everyone, please I was going through my things and I found out that my expired passport with no valid visa was no where to be found but I got my renewed passport which I did last year with me. Should I be worried? ☹️☹️☹️

No worries, just get a police report and affidavit for record purposes.

Hello house.

I got denied a visitor visa 2wks ago, because of invalid bank statements, and I was advised to not appeal and reapply.

I did so on the 7th and normally it takes 2 weeks (10 working days) to get a reply from them. Yesterday Thursday was the 10th day and today Friday, I haven't gotten any feedback from them.

Abeg is that normal?

Should I start getting worried and cancel my flight due on next week Sunday?

There’s is no definite timeline for the visa decision.. timeline varies.
While waiting you can send a mail to hacc@dha.gov.za and I hope it helps

Please everyone, I’m trying to track my mom’s application on vfs, and each time I input her reference number, DOB and the required captcha, it keeps bringing out another captcha for me to input, the last time I was able to track it was on Wednesday and it said application was under assessment. Since yesterday, I’ve not seen anything. Please what does it mean?
It’s physical submission
