I pray that when I'm clearly wrong I don't have men who lack the balls to tell me so.
if you like resort to fable narrative, it doesn’t change anything. You can not tell someone how he or she should react when negative narratives has been intentionally created to neg his or her personality. When score Nigeria posted that news, a lot of Nigerians including some members of this thread were already castigating Osimhen . This is how the press created a false narrative against Jayjay ( he is always selecting matches to played for naija). I support his action 100 percent. Coming out to debunked such devilish narrative with vawulence . Next time, the press won’t try such rubbish again.

S.E got 2nd place prize money from AFCON...

S.F also reached the knockout stages of the Womens World Cup some months before AFCON and NFF also got money from that..

NFF has money... they just want to chop it...

Dt money fit don finish o

Yday at Colin udoh space…d amount used to organize a super eagles match(logistics and all) is nearly 250-300million naira …i shock when I hear d amount .

That's obviously a fraudulent figure..

Even at that S.E got $4m from AFCON for been 2nd.

S.F got $1.87m for reaching the knockout stages of the women world cup..

NFF can never finish that amount of money in 3 years unless there is misappropriation of funds.

Exactly, the hit was already on before the outburst. You’re very right here, some of us here were already countering those attacking the player before we knew he was already on IG. I insist that those behind that media report knew what they were doing

It is human to apologize and correct oneself.

My first instinct when I read news on SM is to confirm if it is true. He should have confirmed if the news was true before reacting.

Osimhen will learn from it and act better. Nigerian fans should move on from this. It is still OsiBobo. This is a guy that has been ever ready for us. Even playing with injuries.

Thank you. They know. Same way they went on a negative campaign against Amunike after Finidi was appointed. I pointed it out.

Just like I have told many here that a lot of tabloids and sensational headlines we see are fake.

I think the next time the NFF decides to give the job to a local coach it should be before any AFCON qualifiers or like Rohr's situation towards the end of a campaign that wasn't too great. At least to avoid unnecessary excuses.

Cos like you said some of us are quick to exonerate a coach who came in and didn't succeed saying the damage had been done or he was sabotaged. Amodu of blessed memory took over the team in 2001 when WC qualification looked impossible with 4 games to go and he delivered by winning the remaining games at least to give himself a chance of topping the group.

Siasia, Finidi and Eguavoen might not have taken over in ideal situations but the hard fact is that they failed.

That’s why am happy with this news the more we see our players in the major leagues in better established teams the better for our national team. Our current stand out players are from the major leagues of epl, laliga and serie A in teams winning titles, it’s not for nothing

The question is simple, why did you guys prefer Finidi when experience wise and qualification wise, Amunike was superior. That is the simple point.

Someone can prefer Kompany because he was City captain and privileged to Pep ideologies.

So what is the reason of preferring Finidi.
It is not about Finidi or Amunike. It is about coaching badge.

You forget to add Oliseh. Na over sabi dey worry our local coaches, the same Amodu that people call suegbe those days has obviously delivered where some so called I know better failed.

Am so happy these ex internationals themselves are tasting what it looks like, no be to Dey yan grammar and be saying this player should have done this or that or that foreign coach is changing our style. Even if you appoint them before the start of any qualifiers many of them will still struggle in managing players. I guess they are better suited for the under age teams for now.

I said it from onset that the NFF is not interested in hiring a local coach for SE.
I also mentioned that Finidi was a stop gap and will be set up to fail so that they will be forced to get a foreigner. The handwriting became clearer when Amokachi withdrew. The new man will come in soon and Amokachi will be the assistant. They played Finidi like a game of chess. I said that those guys are willing to sabotage the world cup dreams just so that they can achieve their aim.
They did it with Amunike. U20.
They did it twice with Siasia. AFCON.
What they cannot sabotage does not exist.
this your theory is now looking like Facts oh... Omo na mafias full NFF (9ja)
