listen dude, from your conversation I can bodly say you are one of the few people here who actually knows history.

the facts remains that prior to the USA entering the ww2 in the pacific theatre, the Japanese were the dominant force in all of asia, the imperial Japanese navy ran the show, the Chinese were already weaken by the years of civil war, Nation upon Nations capitulated when faced by the Japanese army, they attack Dutch East Indies just for the raw materials alone, invaded neutral Thailand just to warn the Americans to stay out of their way.

they attacked the USA because they felt the USA navy forces in pearl harbour was the only stumbling block to their imperialist ambitions.
They never wanted war all they wanted was to destroy USA navy carriers which were anchored at the USA navy base in pearl harbour, unfortunately dose air craft carriers were at sea at the time of the attack, and they would play a critical role on the defeat of the Japanese in the battle of midway

nobody can tell if the Chinese would have able to defeat the imperial Japanese empire without the USA coming to the pacific theatre of ww2, but judging from indices prior to the USA coming to the WAR, it is difficult to say the Chinese army would have been able to do so.

A good student of history will never ask that question.

History has shown time and time again that Russia has never backed out from an existential fight neither have they lost one.

They backed out of WW1😂😂😂😂😂.

The USSR lost in Afghanistan, and lost the cold war to the US. I read somewhere that Russia was part of the USSR. That was the height of Russian civilization.

Russia rarely fights alone unless against smaller countries, there's always a first time for everything.

The War continues

🇩🇰 Danes urged to stock up on water, food and iodine due to “growing Russian threat”

Bloomberg writes about this, noting that the Danish government asked citizens to prepare for an attack or “other potential crisis.”

✖️ Danes, according to recommendations, should stock up on medicines, non-perishable foods and water for at least three days.

📝 “The reality is that Denmark and our allies are threatened by hybrid warfare. Each of us must be prepared for the fact that for a short time we may be left without access to electricity and water or will not be able to buy basic necessities,” said Defense Minister Troels Lund Poulsen.

❗️ In addition, Danish residents were urged to keep iodine tablets at home in case of a nuclear accident, although authorities called this scenario unlikely.

More than 3.5 million people work in these factories, whose salaries have increased by 20 to 60 percent.

Ursula von der Leyen, whose goal is to once again lead the European Commission, said after the elections to the European Parliament:
"I demonstrated during my first term what Europe can achieve. My goal is to continue this path with those who will be pro-European and pro-Ukrainian in the European Parliament."
What has the European Union achieved - or rather, the liberal forces of all shades that rule it and von der Leyen herself - in her first term?
What is she so proud of and what makes her an asset?]

First “achievement”: A significant reduction in economic growth rates - largely due to the severance of energy and economic ties with Russia. In 2023, six EU countries, led by Germany, showed zero or negative economic “growth”. Overall growth across the EU was only 0.5 percent. Moreover, France, with a growth of 0.7%, together with Britain, is a candidate for leaving the top 10 leading economies in the world. Thus, of all the EU countries, only Germany will remain in the top ten.

The second “achievement”: a sharp aggravation of the military-political situation on the European continent. For the first time since 1938-39, Europe is on the brink of a major war, the possible scale of which terrifies the Europeans themselves. This is what von der Leyen persistently sought and achieved through her policy of unbridled support for Ukraine, which she intends to continue and expand.

The third “achievement”: a qualitative increase in dependence on the United States - now not only military and political, but also energy. If previously the EU at least tried to position itself as an autonomous center of power within the Western alliance, now these claims have been discarded and are not feasible, and Macron’s talk about the “strategic autonomy” of Europe sounds like empty rhetoric. Europe in the "de-Gaulle" sense - with a capital letter - no longer exists.

So, the EC, led by von der Leyen, has no achievements. It invests a lot of European funds in supporting Ukraine, but the EC has not achieved success in this area either. Coupled with the deepening migration crisis and a further decline in the birth rate among the indigenous population of EU countries, which was also facilitated by the policies of its leadership, the picture of “what Europe can achieve” under von der Leyen is very eloquent. She is determined to continue to lead the EU along this path.

🪖 Kyiv is pulling equipment to the second and third echelons of defense in the Kharkov direction

This was stated by the operator of the Lancet loitering munition with the call sign Lin. According to him, this may be part of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ preparation for a counter-offensive.

📝 “We are really looking forward to this. We are ready for this and are charged to destroy this equipment, to replenish our video range of applications,” said the fighter.

❗️ He added that the Lancets are constantly being improved and are being supplied to the troops in sufficient quantities. Currently, there are record-breaking hits by the Lancet against Ukrainian Armed Forces equipment at a distance of more than 60 kilometers.

👔 Zelensky: Ukraine is ready to start negotiations with Russia tomorrow if Moscow “respects its territorial integrity”

❗️ Other statements:

▪️Zelensky called the annexation of Crimea and Donbass by Russia a “historical mistake”,called Russia an “aggressor”

▪️Called Putin “a Nazi who came to destroy us”

▪️Said that Russia's presence at the next summit “will mean that it wants the conflict to end”

▪️Ukraine’s task today is to “not allow the Russian Armed Forces to succeed in their offensive in the Kharkov region”

▪️China, having influence on the Russian Federation, “could help Ukraine”

👩‍🚀 #OnThisDay 61 years ago, Soviet cosmonaut & parachute enthusiast Valentina Tereshkova became the first woman in space. Her mission aboard the Vostok-6 spacecraft was a complete world sensation, inspired by millions of women in the Soviet Union and abroad.

The issue of launching a female cosmonaut was raised immediately after Yury Gagarin’s triumphant return from orbit. The goal was to compare the impact of outer space on male and female organisms and to study the possibility of launching civilian specialists into space in the future.

🚀 The Vostok-6 blasted off the Baikonur Cosmodrome on June 16 1963. The flight itself lasted fortwo days, 22 hours and 50 minutes, the spacecraft orbited Earth 48 times. Until now Tereshkova remains the only female cosmonaut to undertake a solo space mission.

🎖 Valentina, then only 26, lifted off as a Lieutenant and came back a Captain. Three days after landing, she was awarded Hero of ...
