Dear NFF,
It is a fact that many of you nff members are always on nairaland sports thread, obviously to feel the impulse of Nigerians about the super Eagles.

Many thanks for throwing out finidi George but it is more important that the team made it to the world cup and also perform excellently.

The best coach I'll recommend is Herve renald if truly you want the best for the eagles. He is currently with the french female team and he is most likely to be available by August 2024.

Another gamble with another mediocre will definitely spell doom for the super Eagles.

As for that Osimhen's live, I missed it. I literally didn't even know he did a live until several hours later.

Watching it later and hearing him speak brought a few tears to my eyes. He is not the kind of person you accuse of "poor commitment". He is probably the most committed guy you will see in the GWG today especially evident on the field of play. The Afcon did more than enough to prove it.

But I also didn't like that he had to finally allow his emotions get the best of him that way. I wish his closest guys had made it impossible for him to do that "Live". No way they didn't know he was gonna do that and they allowed it happen until realising they could stop him. One was even calling his number to disrupt the "Live" after more than 5mins has passed.

Even Ighalo, in the comments, had to say, "Boy calm down and end the live"

Ighalo is one guy who accurately predicted how great Osimhen will become. I remember the 2016 article and interview with Goal Nigeria. He knows what he meant.

Honestly, those closest to Osimhen physically should do much better. Osimhen is a grown man and a father but still young and needs a little more guidance. Needs protection from even himself sometimes. He is too passionate and too Selfless at times. Such people don't take being labelled in bad light, lightly.

I can understand Osimhen's rage but I also wanna say he should know that Truth is like a Lion and it would always defend itself.

Osimhen's commitment has never been in doubt. It is well.

MOVING ON PLEASE.

Doc, how far..
I think we should first confirm if Finidi said those words...
Asides,
Under no circumstances should that boy have spoken unprofessionally and unintelligenty like that..

You know what we call that in medicine ?... "verbal diarrhoea"
That guy na stupid fellow, very stupid boy.

After spending years outside gettho, the gettho life never leave him.
Man can be truly unredeemable..

Despite living in oyinbo land for years, he never imbibe their culture. a typical oyinbo guy no dey misyarn, they could yab in a subtle way but not to open mouth and downpour rubbish (because they believe the mental health of the person could be affected with their negative words)

Personally, I have always been worried about the crowd closest to Osimhen. Sometimes, I also feel he is a reflection of the crowd he mingles with. The Victor I have always known is respectful even though he can get into a few clashes due to his headstrong passion.

It is well shaa.. I will respond on WhatsApp.

I will include Finidi George, Gbenga Okunowo and Ganiyu Aziz too. Amunike did better in Portugal I think he was hampered by injuries when he moved to Barcelona.

Sure. I'm not for crucifying him oo. Not at all. We all ere but he should check himself. This is one outburst too many. I'm rather concerned about how his conduct is or will affect him.

if you like resort to fable narrative, it doesn’t change anything. You can not tell someone how he or she should react when negative narratives has been intentionally created to neg his or her personality. When score Nigeria posted that news, a lot of Nigerians including some members of this thread were already castigating Osimhen . This is how the press created a false narrative against Jayjay ( he is always selecting matches to played for naija). I support his action 100 percent. Coming out to debunked such devilish narrative with vawulence . Next time, the press won’t try such rubbish again.
Authoritative sources have come out to say Finidi did not mention Osimhen yet you are still talking about false narrative. Oya continue to egg him on. 👋👋👋

Whether or not FG said the words alleged by VO, my opinion is that VO should be excused from the National Team. While he gives his all when he's playing, i feel he has some toxicity in him which isn't good for the NT. Like VO said, the NT no be Baba Andrew house and it doesn't matter to him if he is axed from the team. Also, his inury worries would reduce and there won't be any need for any MotherFCKrs to visit him.

Exactly, the hit was already on before the outburst. You’re very right here, some of us here were already countering those attacking the player before we knew he was already on IG. I insist that those behind that media report knew what they were doing
Baba, if I post false news about you that charlesemeka85 said something about you, ought you not to attack me rather than attack Charles?

The press is doing yellow journalism. Nobody has called them out. Instead it is Finidi that is unjustifiably being attacked. So long as Osimhen directed his outburst against Finidi, he's wrong. Even the court of public opinion has adjudged him wrong

sorry I forgot to add samu self

But wetin mk the first person wey start the discussion no even mention samu? The way we berate and undermine some of our players who hv even managed to hold their own against top players/oppositions in world football eeeh

Na the same type of fans wey go still dey hype nwakali who is yet to cut it in any top 5 European league since he turned bro

After ohenhen, adepoju,Uche brothers the next should be samu

Even I will rate samu’s performance in laliga ahead of the Kalu Uche self. The same performance of his few castigate every then and now earned him a big move to almighty AC Milan

Trophy wise even samu is the most successful Nigerian to play in laliga cus he won the UEL with Villareal
