The report by the OP is quite misleading.

Akpata erroneously introduced himself as a son of the Palace.
The implication of that statement was that a member of the royal family was contesting for Governorship.

Oba, through one of his aides, had to initially clarify if a member of the royal family was contesting for governorship before correcting him in a fatherly manner and even reassuring him he is a true illustrious, indigenous son of the soil.

There was no form of warning or dismissiveness toward Akpata.

In this present day and level of human advancement. politics should be played with maturity, decorum and facts. And not attempting to disseminate misleading information.

I just watched the videos and honestly it contradicts with the headlines and most people's opinion on the comments, the OBA was very respectful and reiterated support for the candidate, even said he has previous supported the candidate when he was in the NBA as a practitioner...the headlines is simply for clickbait
