An Igbo Hypeman Reckless Statement by HydraFeeds(m): 5:57am On Jun 17 |
I was at a bar to relax on the island yesterday night . The hypeman(obviously an Igbo) got to the stage ,took the Mic and began to yarn dust . The Igbos stay in Lekki ,Vi,Ajah and other posh areas while the Yorubas stay in Epe ,Olokonla, Sangotedo, Ikorodu etc . The Igbos drive Benz, Lamborghini,Lexus while the Yorubas drive Korope,Molue. The Igbos drink Hennessy,Azul while the Yorubas drink Shepe, Seaman . After saying these rubbish ,he observed the guest countenance and said nobody should attack him after the show . After a while ,he declared that the Igbos present are broke ,perhaps to retrace his steps and appeal to his Yoruba guests. In my understanding, such statements are false, tribalistic and capable of leading to violence. Such delicate matter should not be considered as joke because a lie repeated several times can be seen as truth ,it can set the course for violence in which the starter might not be able to contain it . First to do no dey pain ,when people respond accordingly to such irresponsible statement, that's when they switch to victim mode and call others bigot and that they are after them . 35 Likes 6 Shares |

Every day Igbo this, Igbo that, na wa for these people o. Please how does your early morning attack reduce the price of garri and other foodstuff in the market ? You can't just come here and post nonsense early momo without evidence then tell me the nonsense won't have economic benefits "First to do no dey pain ,when people respond accordingly...." Your message has been received loud and clear sha, we all know the constant online attacks against the Igbos for perceived grievances are a prelude to something sinister. You couldn't break the head of your phantom hypeman when you saw him physically, you couldn't even report him to the police for incitement but rather you came to Nairaland to stoke ethnic hatred as usual. Witch, you're a cowardly witch op 63 Likes 12 Shares |

MASTAkiLLAh: I'm not talking about price of garri or economy reality right now , everything has their own space for discussion. I encourage embracement of diversity but people should not push beyond their limit . Most attacks on Igbos online are reactionary as my post is also reactionary to an unpleasant experience. I'm not a violent person and I was just out to relax but not to fight . 15 Likes 3 Shares |

HydraFeeds:reactionary my foot. I am an Ijaw man born and bred in Lagos and I know what I have seen. You come here without evidence making serious allegations and dropping subtle threats which didn't just start today even if not from you. If you were so offended with the man's words, why didn't you caution him immediately there or ask the manager to caution him ? Instead you came here to make threats against a whole ethnic group most of whom are living very peaceful and quiet lives amongst you Yorubas. Doesn't that show you have an ulterior motive to incite an ethnic attack sooner than later ? These things start like jokes and it's the same way the Rwanda crisis started but in your case you have the social media as a potent accomplice, just inject Igbo hating propaganda into the mindset of yorubas gradually every morning until your aim is achieved. I fear who no fear people like you. 2023 elections has given me all the evidence I need to be careful Please, make sure you don't forget to respond accordingly 39 Likes 7 Shares |

MASTAkiLLAh: I don't care where you are from ,I don't care about anyone's origin but deals with them based on their values. 2023 elections reaction is not enough ,you can't prevent others from voting in your abode based on their choice of candidates, won by over 80% but called others that shared their votes bigots ,you don't make reckless statement threatening the heritage of locals ,transfer PVC and attempt to subdue others when they're not moo . You don't single out others VIPs that support opposing views for attack why you're silent on your own VIPs that did the same . I have many friends from other ethnicities including Igbos but they don't insult my heritage cos that will be the end of our relationship if they do . There are different ways to respond, after making such statements,no Igbo man displayed himself(I'm not saying none couldn't) but I simply bought things that's why I said he retraced his steps and said the Igbos present are broke . Of course you don't expect me to break bottles and make the hypeman to say Yorubas are agbero and Igbos are Bankers ? You don't beat a child and tell him not to cry or how to cry . If people pushing back is called hate I don't know what the people pushing should be called . Relationship is sweet when everyone knows their bound and they're not trying to stretch it by testing the water with one leg . 21 Likes 4 Shares |

Every ethnic group has people wey go misyarn. REST. I wonder the violence in your post. If person mock you, mock am back. Not resorting to violence. Why must violence keep popping out as a reaction? If the guests had left in large numbers when the clown started the yeye joke, the manager of the bar will stop him from working there. 8 Likes 1 Share |

I honestly don't get hyped about this rubbish It's igbo culture for everyone to praise and hype themselves Anambra hype themselves against the rest of igbo land Nnewi hype themselves against the rest of Anambra I have never seen our neighbors ijaws, Binis, igala, Akwa Cross complain about it they know it's just hype and nothing more But you see yorubas every single time they complain 20 Likes |

HydraFeeds:is this not you ? "Extreme wealth without no name on Forbes . Political stability despite relentless secession pursuit . Lack of struggle but always jumping on night bus to seek greener pastures somewhere else..." I say I know you people very well. Gaslight and lie a bit before your true colors pop out. I shouldn't have even bothered with you from the onset. Imagine coming to cry about an imaginary hypeman at 5:57am Chineke Oga, I said you're a bloody liar. If the words of Mr hypeman is enough for you to threaten an entire ethnic group, what do you want that same ethnic group to have done when your darling Mc Oluomo threatened them during last year's elections ? Didn't a lady nearly lose her eye ? Weren't people attacked for being Igbo ? Weren't people killed for being Igbo ? Weren't people turned back and harrased from polling boots for looking Igbo ? Stop being a smello hypocrite. We're in a democracy and people have a right to reside in any part of the country they want, Last year your sister Kemi almost became UK prime minister and nobody shouted United kingdom ronu or go back to your village. People came out to vote on election day and you said they're tampering with your heritage. Which heritage ? Is APC Yoruba heritage or is APC bigger than Nigerian democracy ? Your response to chinkoalhaji is enough proof for me that you're a slimy snake and your original post has revealed your intentions. Continue blaming Igbos instead of telling your brother the truth about Nigeria's economy. Continue stoking embers of hatred against Igbos please 26 Likes 6 Shares |

mrvitalis:the op is a liar. No hypeman said anything, he came here for two purposes. Sow ethnic discord against Igbos and distract Nigerians from that New York times article about our worst economic disaster in recorded history. They do this all the time, the main plan is to get enough Nigerians to hate Igbos and blame them for their economic woes. This game plan succeeded in Nazi Germany before the second world war and also Rwanda before their civil war 17 Likes 1 Share |

mrvitalis:I can never support war, it's not a game. I saw the militancy period first hand and it wasn't funny talk less of a full scale warfare. I am only warning against people like the op and their sly tactics because my higher institution training has taught me the outcome of certain social behaviors. My job is to warn and put it on record that I warned. Nigeria is too sweet for crisis, what we want is a semblance of normalcy in our economy without unnecessary hatred for each other 6 Likes |
