if efo state is able to pay 70k that shows other state can follow. Its just deliberate wickedness.

How many states can afford even that 62k ?

Yet they can ALL afford ridiculously exorbitant pays and allowances for their law makers

Edo State does not pay 70k minimum wage across board. The one being paid by Edo State benefits workers who were earning below the N70k. So, the benefit is for the lower-level workers. It is different from what the labour is clamouring for. What the labour is clamoring for will have multiplier effect on the salary of all workers. People don't really understand the difference between the labour demand and what Edo State is paying.

Cut down taxes to enable businesses augment and pay living wage to their employees. By the way, how many businesses pay tax in Nigeria to start with?

What has he done about the states paying N18k as minimum wage?
if your 'it is my turn' paymaster hadn't turned things on their heads, the N18k you are now latching on to would have still had some basic value. Now that the economy has entered scalar quantity mode and even the insulting N62k proposed has no meaningful value, you are choosing to attack Ajaero and not Tinubu. Just so you know, that is hypocritical! Call a spade a spade and not a garden spoon; it won't kill you! Tinubu is the architect of this quagmire Nigeria is in today. QED.

NLC is not a sell out, you know nothing about policy making, their are different stakeholders to consult on this matter, of course Private Sector which form a greater proportion of employers of labour must be consulted, a lot of Private Sector employers being the capitalist they're won't agree to a triple amount raise, even though they won't be bound by it, they'll pressured by the respective unions their employees belong to, and I want to believe you know what that would mean, regarding this 62,000 minimum wage, I sincerely feel for labour union because they're actually fighting against the devil's.

Let all Political Office Holders also get ₦62,000.00k as salary...then we'll know they are patriotic.

62k is not the salaries but the minimum anyone doing salary jobs can get even with pry six certification or nothing. So the political office holders salaries will be calculated based on the minimum wage of same 62k and it will push it higher due to Thier respective levels. fighting for minimum wage is not for NLC but all across board on monthly payroll. So why demanding for 250k as minimum cos of subsidy removal that puts fuel at 600/700. What will happen when fuel prices comes down soon to 300/350?

Nigeria's problem is not minimum wage. Government must make it possible for people to go back to the farms. We are a disgrace to humanity for not being able to feed ourselves. A lot of Nigerians are ready to go back to the farm. Government must stop bokoham, banditory, kidnapping, yahoo yahoo, money laundering, illegal mining, excessive government spending and all other ills going on in the country. Infact, government should reduce salaries and make efforts to make Naira stronger.

It has been happening since in some sectors like education. State-owned tertiary institutions pay better than federal until this new increase in 25%\35% that Buhari approved after the last ASUU's strike.

In some other areas, state still pay better than federal. You can't know it all if you don't do thorough investigation

They have dribbled labour to a corner they can't return to strike action because once they pass the bill, it's over for labour. Tinubu is bad for Nigeria

That is not how it works. The FG through PBAT and the legislooters are playing high handed. The FG can choose to pass it and nothing can stop the NLC to embark another strike. Negotiations are not one sided but both parties should have a near common ground. If this is the way PBAT goes about governance and administration then he is not fit in running an economy.
It's means the APC led FG in just 9 years has devalued the Naira, brought inhuman economic policies that have caused the price of goods and services to have shot up the sky.
So basically economy wise the value of N18,000 prio 2015 elections in dollar is about $120 and someone could buy a good sized yam somewhere in the middle belt for N200 but now N18000 is about $12 and would have been about less than $10 if not what the CBN governor did with the BDC people. So basically the APC administration of just 9 years has destroyed what the PDP achieved in it's 16 years in power. Do you know what amount of backwardness that has brought on the economy ? Do you know if they continue in this way that so many ills will increase in the land?

Frequent and sporadic increments in civil servants salaries is not a viable solution... what should be more pressing on the desk of any Nigerian President should be to retrace Naira forex value... I mean NGN1 = USD$1... then a living wage and sustainable revenue can be achieved...

Those of you who do not know what civil servants get as salary should stop all these ignorant analysis, that what can they do with just 62k basic salary. I read and was told there are other allowances like transport, feeding, housing, employer's pension contribution, child care, health allowance etc. (except if what I read or been told is a lie sha)
Labour unions know this.
My worry is what of the masses that are not salary earners, who depends on daily hustles. And the impact on the economy as soon as the minimum wage is announced. ( I pray it will not affect the economy negatively in Jesus name.
Let's us be considerate because things are not easy worldwide
