The one you used for the study permit application should suffice, but CBSA seldom asks for a bank statement. Yes, it can be less than what you used in your application, but it must cover the tuition fee for one year and living expenses. kachi10000: |

Please, when you say you need to show a backdated letter of employment with pay slips to your account and evidence, does that mean you have to show a bank statement showing that amount in the pay slip? Jeboy: |

As an NCE holder with a teaching experience of 10 years, you can go for a college diploma in early childhood education, the profession has a high demand in Canada. You don't need your NCE transcript, your NCE certificate should be merged with your WAEC/NECO result. Zihno: 1 Like |

Oreoluwa18:Please guys I need suggestions on how to go about the reapplication so as to meet up with my resumption date by September 2024 Documents I submitted; Sop PAL Employment letter Pay slips Approval of study leave letter POF of 32k CAD Sponsorship letter Sponsors payslips Sponsors tax letter Payment of tuition deposit and first semester school fees (total of 12k) |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by somtorizm: 7:47pm On Jun 17 |
How much is your tuition fees. Have you made a deposit. Are you sponsoring your self or someone his. You need to show detailed close ties back home. You need to convince the visa officer why you're taking up the course your studying. Example you can't study English language and applying for visa for an IT course when you don't have any experience or detail explanation on moving forward with the career of change. Please proof of funds Should be calculated based on the money you have after deduction of your whole school fees.. so please deduct your school fees from your money and see how much you have. Wishing you the best of lucky If you had time you should request for a GMSC note. Also you should have a least 80% funds available to you from your sponsor. Oreoluwa18: |

Tuition deposit and fees for the first semester already paid by him. |

Oreoluwa18: This normally should be your POF, 20,635+20,635+36,800 + Flight tickets= 78,070 + Flight tickets. Did you brother statement of acc show just about that? Even if can't show all funds, does his statement inflow and payslips shows capability to? Also, do you have another close relative(s) in naija for home ties? Did your SOP state prospects of going back to your job after completion of studies? Like career advancement, related to the course of study. |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by bullstriker: 5:17am On Jun 18 |
Your application was submitted poorly, as the visa officer identified multiple issues. Some of them are the ability to cover the cost of your education, home ties and your motive for travelling to Canada. Without the details of your application, we cannot pinpoint the issues. So, ordering a GCMS note is a good starting point. Oreoluwa18: |

Good morning my people, Please I want to start my Canada PR process, does it really take up to a year or even more ? Should I just try student route instead ? Based on the current trend what would be your advice ? P.S: I am an IT professional with years of experience. Thank you |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by Ajebogirl: 9:57am On Jun 18 |
waywardpikin: No, you can't do biometrics before submitting your application. After you submit your application, you will receive a biometrics instruction letter that will outline how to give your biometrics. |

Age is not a determining factor. If the applicant meets the requirement the visa will be approved. Zihno: |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by JMG12: 2:04pm On Jun 18 |
Sorry about this refusal, did you use MBS? Try to reapply using the conventional SOA and make sure all documents are legible. The funds this time should meet the required funds. Jackto365: |
