For someone planning to "japa" to the US using study route with a time frame within the next two years, I just read your update about how its not feasible in the long run. What other route would you advise especially for someone in the legal Field?

Hi! It's fine.

If you already have your degree and, say, for example, you've gone to law school and passed your bar exam, say in Nigeria, you might need to retake another bar exam in the state you wish to reside in the US. A faster alternative would be to get an immigration lawyer to help you navigate the headache. You should be good to go once you pass your bar exam but it isn't always that easy since every state operates independently and has its requirements for legal programmes.
