Well put but actually that is how I learnt. 😂 You are so brilliant.

I was crying when Zidane knocked out a young Spain. I just did not understand why such a smooth playing Spanish side should lose. Note, I did not say France but Zidane. He tore them to shreds.

Four years down the line, I noticed that Aragounes was right with what he did with the Spanish side. Those Spanish players became legends of the game.

Finito.

Football success is hinged on adaptability. Adaptability to how your opponents play, their strengths and weaknesses, your strengths and weaknesses. Every style of football invented was once novel, then became outdated, then became novel again. If you have the resources to implement it and it can neutralìze your opponent's strengths, then its the best for you at that moment. It's so simple. Even Pep realises that and has tweaked and adjusted elements of his game over time (considering he has access to vast resources).

Look at Leeds and their beautiful football 2 or 3 seasons ago. They got relegated and they've not found it easy to get back up. Why? Because they didn't adapt. You adapt by either getting the kind of players that can execute the style you want successfully (this is very dependent on resources which not many coaches or clubs have) or you tweak or change your style to suit the players you have. Otherwise, you'll end up like Leeds and Burnley, and even Norwich (I remember they came to the EPL and started like they were something with their play style).

I no dey like long write up and just writing all this is already tiring for me, but I hope you get my drift (not that I expect it to change your mind anyway 😂).

When last did you watch Pavard's volley. We are talking history here. We are talking lessons that the next generation will come and study. We are talking of tournaments that people will share for others to rewatch the moments.

Finito.
If you like reword your questions in Greek.

There's a reason why things like Top 10 goals, Top 10 Fks etc etc have the higher views and comments.

This your imaginary statements na only for your pocket. What a travesty to talk down on a team that got to one Euro final and back to back WC finals in the name of long term. What can be proof of long term than that?

If only Manchester United has the guts to buy Suarez from Ajax to replace Ronaldo and also bought Alexis Sanchez to play on the left. Let Valencia play as a right back and left Nani in the right forward role. Things would have turned out differently.

Nope 👎 Suarez was never in our rader in 2008 neither was Alexis Sanchez

When Ronaldo was leaving our scouts highly recommend quaresma as a like for like replacements

Same country same play style he’ll fit right and all that stuff, but Chelsea hijacked that trade thinking he would be the next Ronaldo

Years gone by and agenda must agend the push Ashley young

But the truth Man U was doing quite well for a low budget payroll
Rooney, dimitar, Nani we weren’t dominating Europe but we was winning so no need to find replacement which cost us dearly on the long run

Like say Oranges fwy for keeper chest 😁😁😁

It's even an error for Belgium to still be having Lukaku in their XI. Better to use Trossard there sef than Lakaka.

the way this euro is going, beautiful play alone cannot take you far, it was beautiful play that caused the first goal to be conceded by the Belgians when Doku (Guardiola boy) wan overdo,

Spain has stopped playing tiki taka so you know beautiful play is not enough

Germany has stopped double pressing that they’re known for, but adapted it to a better form for now

We’ll wait to see if they’ll be expose on the counter all over again by a good team

When you consider the likes of Osimhen, Boniface and Lookman and look at the moves our players are making, missing out on the WC would be incredibly tragic.

He sighted indiscipline

No leader in d team

Further saying we don’t av certain players who can shoulder responsibilities to win games even wout d coach input .

The best local coach for the eagles remains Samson Siasia, unfortunately his ban ends in August.

He remains the best Nigerian coach with the best playing pattern.

I did not say Sanchez and Suarez were on Manchester United's radar but they were my pick. I was actually a Manchester United fan from 96 to 2010. I stopped supporting them because they lost the trajectory I felt led to their earlier success.

Suarez was my pick and I believe he was the perfect replacement for Ronaldo and Sanchez would have become a great addition.
