From the get go I told anyone who cared to listen that Finidi was never going to out coach Hugo Broos and Gernot Rohr. He simply doesn't have the minerals from what I saw of his Enyimba side that hoofed and puffed in the continent, even in the league, they came 3rd only to squeeze themselves into the play-offs and win the mini Super6 tournament, which was as much worth as Paul Offor wining the Preseason tournament with Sporting Lagos.

As much as I didn't want Finidi or expect him to do well with the SE, it wouldn't make me support Osimhen. That boy is your typical ghetto kid schooled in the school of hard knocks.

One expects that at his level and exposure in Europe certain character trails will die down naturally but unfortunately, that's not been the case. The other time he cursed out Ikpeba calling him an agbaya.
He is hurting his brand unknowingly. His management must do better as I suspect most top clubs look at character as much as talent before making a big financial layout for a player.

Agbaya isn't a curse word though..

Colin Udoh is as biased as they come. Was it not him also subtly pushing for his wife, Mercy Akide to be Coach of the Super Falcons at some Point, few years ago. Abegiii

Just look at his rubbish suggestion. Wait till September... for bloody what?? We are in June and he wants us to wait for 3months to appoint a coach. What arrant nonsense coming from a veteran Journalist.

See let me tell you something about these journos. They are masters of lies, twists, pretence and damage limitation.

Even the Finidi comment on Osimhen reported by Colin and Oganla media was damage limitation. They support Finidi so would use their "media credibility" to say "this is how it went" even when it is untrue.

Look at Colin recommending Salisu Yusuf. Is that a Journo to be taken seriously?

Even Solace Chukwu is a joker. I have long figured out that one. Just blurting out grammar with little substance.

These Journos are not clean. They are not neutral. They take sides.

Thank you o, it’s just a matter of time, their entire agenda will be exposed, don’t want to say more cos of the Finidi supporters here, imagine supporting a coach who benched a boniface for 90 mins as if boniface too was begging to be played. Make we just Dey look o

We will never learn as a country and we will learn the hard way.
All these paid journalist should allow the NFF work or we play into their hands again.
No homebase coach has the experience and managerial skill for now to take us to the world cup.
May the soul of Amodu and Keshi rest in perfect peace. They really worked hard before been appointed and they succeeded. I can never forgot Bcc lions of Gboko in the Caf winners cup neither forget Togo national team qualification journey to the world cup
All these wicked journalist should allow these ego filled local (94set) player/agent/coach to work hard with a clubside first or small country national team and earn there respect before auctioning them to SE.
We have been through this road before, appointing them again will do more damage than ever before.
They always prefer coaches who greased their palms and have direct access to, reason they hated Keshi back in the day and said all sorts that he won afcon by luck but they can make silly excuses for a coach throwing his players under the bus, phew.

Sir Goke,I can count few of us who always standing by Keshi here cuz many here do accuse him of corruption Bla Bla.

Nigeria journalists stake on Keshi, well i will say they fully supported him but Amaju and his cabal want Keshi out for no reason.

The issue here is behavioral attitude of Osimhen, people views is not about supporting Finidi,in fact majority don’t want Finidi near eagles again but are not happy with Osimhen childish rant on IG.

The issue is not about Finidi as a coach.

Yes Finidi failed woefully but would Boniface be granting interviews with dick and harry in camp, can he do that with foreign coach.

Initially I hate anything below average foreign coach but now I don’t mind cuz indiscipline of these generation players damn too obvious, for Osimhen to come out and started cursing on IG then Wahala dey o.

Makes it shocking that Finidi doesn't.

So why don't we have 200 thousand top quality exceptional excellent coaches.

What qualification did Alex Ferguson have when he became a club manager 😔 did that take away his excellence.

Please, Amunike is far more experienced than Finidi. Check their profiles. What worked for Finidi was bias. Which kind assistant role. 😂

What has old age experience of Methuselah got to do with wisdom of Solomon.

How old and experienced is the German national team coach.

Local coach: i am in charge

Benches players that will bring results in less than 25mins on the pitch to establish his point. Loses and talks to everyone that nobody is indispensable(forgetting he's included)

Adds unintelligent talks to the press and makes everyone wonder which galaxy they came from in this era of modern football.

I wonder what evidence you want me to provide finidi interaction with the nff was published where he said he can’t beg any player and if he disciplines any one he won’t get the backing of the nff, what does that imply? Why are we trying to twist the narrative nah, I said he benched a player for 90 mins you responded that the player was granting press interviews any how in camp, please stop going round in circles. ain’t fair

But actually, you are actually right. Guardiola's success is a lot hinged on how fantastic his players are but a lot has to do with the system.

Most of our players need their teammates in sync with the system to flourish. A lot of our players performances comes from combined efforts.

So it is likely they won't be stellar on an individual capacity.
Which is a big disadvantage. So why have you been arguing since?

"I remembered when Victor Osimhen abused Victor Ikpeba, because Ikpeba accused him of wasting the chanced he should have scored in the world cup play off against Ghana, I mentioned in some of the shows I attended that time, he should be santioned and be made to pay fine and apologize to Ikpeba.

I was so shocked today, when I saw the video where he was lashing out at Finidi on Instagram, using fowl languages, calling Finidi by name, he didn't say, coach Finidi, uncle Finidi, Mr Finidi, but he called him by name. Such behavior is highly condemnable, and should not go unpunished. Finidi can born Osimhen, what Finidi achieved in football, Osimhen can never achieve it, Finidi help Nigeria qualify for world cup twice and play in world cup twice, Osimhen couldn't help Nigeria qualify for world cup and has not played in world cup. Finidi won champion's league with Ajax, Osimhen is yet to win it, Finidi is an AFCON winner, Osimhen has not achieved that. Finidi was the best number 7 in his days, Osimhen is not the best number 9 currently. As current African footballer of the year, he is an ambassador of Africa as a whole, not just Nigeria, therefore someone like him must not be seen with such dirty action.

Now coming to the matter, Finidi shouldn't have mentioned name, he should have talked generally, but I understand his frustration. But come to think of it, their is no lie in what Finidi said about Osimhen, since Osimhen has become the team's number one striker, he has been selecting matches he will play, in the last 5 years, most of the friendly matches the super eagles have played, Osimhen has always opted out, anyone who is doubting should go and research, I stand to be challenged and corrected. He will claim he is injured, but immediately after the friendly, you will see him playing in Napoli.
We all remember how he colluded with his club to opt out of AFCON 2 years ago, up till today, the reason for opting out is not clear.

This is always the problem with so many Nigerian players, most expecially those that sees themselves as the most important players in the team, Austin Okocha and Kanu Nwakwo too were selecting matches they will play in their own time, that is why Nigeria could not qualify for world cup in 2006, because they were not honouring invitation for world cup qualifiers matches away from home, I remember when a journalist asked Okocha why he didn't honour a particular match, he responded by saying he is not a machine.

Mikel Obi and Victor Moses too did the same thing, I remembered Stephen Keshi dealt with Mikel Obi because of that, by not inviting him for close to a year, it was the last qualifying match for 2013 AFCON that he invited him again, and ever since, Mikel did not try that again.

Obafemi Martins was doing same thing, Nigeria almost not qualify for 2010 world cup, because Martins and some players were not honouring away matches, that was the reason Amodu shuaibu wanted to drop him for 2010 AFCON in Angola, if not for the public outcry and the intervention of the NFF, Amodu would have dropped him. Even when they got to Angola, Amodu put him on the bench, and was using Yakubu Ayegbeni, Ozase Odewenge and Chinedu Obasi upfront, martins will only come in at the tail end of the match.

We can go on and on, it's a problem with our players, they are arrogant, they feel too big, they fill uncontrollable.

My suggestion is that, henceforth, let their be a code of conduct for every members of the team and the technical crew about dos and donts, that anyone who er, anyone who does contrary will be made to face sanction.

Back to Osimhen, he must be disciplined, he must be ban for sometime from the team and must be made to apologize to Finidi and Ikpeba."

Stuff is finidi does not have the leadership personality keshi commsnded. You know keshi has always been a leader was one of the first leaders of Nigerian players to Europe.
So the players easily respect him as he was once the captain. Finide has no leadership aura, confidence or charisma whatsoever.
On the other hand whatever it is, osimhen does not know howbtobtalk. His behaviour on social media is childish and amateurish. If he does that in his club in Europe they will bench him and sell him off. He will be shocked. Someone needs to teach him how to behave
