Nigeria’s federal government has launched the Genetically Modified Organisms (GMO) maize variety named TELA, stating it is an effort to strengthen and boost maize production in the country.

The TELA Maize was developed at the Institute of Agricultural Research (IAR) at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, in collaboration with the African Agriculture Technology Foundation (AATF), funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and other partners.

At the launch in Abuja, the Minister of State for Agriculture and Food Security, Senator Aliyu Sabi Abdullahi, said the government will only do things that will promote the citizens’ welfare, health, and security.

In a corroborative tone, the Chairman of the African Agriculture Technology Foundation (AATF) Board of Trustees, Professor Aggrey Ambali, said Nigeria’s newly launched TELA maize variety will bridge the country’s annual maize production deficit.

In addition, Professor Ambali stated that the TELA Maize variety, with its remarkable yield potential of up to 10 tons per hectare compared to the current average of three tons per hectare, represents a groundbreaking development in the collective effort to boost Nigeria’s agricultural productivity.

The TELA maize launch was presented as a new technology-driven approach to farming and food production. According to Prof Ambali, the new maize variety, which incorporates resilience against drought and pests, is a testament to the power of biotechnology in addressing some of the most pressing challenges in agriculture, such as Fall Army Worm (FAW) pest.

The Executive Director of the African Agricultural Technology Foundation (AATF), Dr Canisius Kanangire, commended the Nigerian government for supporting the project.

Nigeria became the second African country to approve GMO Maize for commercial planting in February 2024, following Bill Gates’s April 2024 meeting in Riyadh with President Bola Tinubu on the need to adopt GMO seeds.

Swallowing everything hook, line, and sinker may be dangerous. What are the EIA results for such new varieties of crop before full implementation?

Big biggest mistake!

Allowing Bill gates produce into the country is a big disaster. These are GMO products that are solely controlled by Bill gates.

The only candidate that would have ressisted Globo Homo would have been Atiku.

Larry Fink of BlackRock dictates every economic and financial policy to the current FG.

Sanusi Lamido Sanusi was appointed VP Blackrock after GEJ fired him as CBN governor.

Sanusi coming back as Amir of Kano was Larry Fink's doing. They need a westernised internationalist like Sanusi on the throne to sell Globo Homo to the conservative Muslims up north.

GMO crops are dangerous on every level but by far their most greatest disadvantage is that it will destroy the natural seedlings we have in Nigeria and Bill Gates pushing his poison means he will end up owning the intellectual property rights of all seeds in Nigeria.

Bill Gates and Larry Fink are evil as they come.

The senselessness of Fulani bandits in the northwest and North Central is to drive farmers off their lands and from there make way for mega corporate farms owned by Larry Fink's BlackRock and Bill Gates Monsanto Group.

Both of these individual firms own majority of farmlands in the US and Ukraine.

The first thing Zelensky did when he became president of Ukraine was to repeal the centruy's ban on sale of homesteads. After lifting the ban, Zelensky introduced heavy land taxes on the farmers to force them into bankruptcy so as to sell their lands to American Jewish mega corporations like BlackRock and Monsanto. Most of the productive and rich soil is to the now liberated eastern Ukraine with its Russian speaking people. The Ethnic Russians saw this as the last straw and declared independence from Kiev. That's when the unrelentless shelling and terrorist attacks by Kosher nazi Azov brigade began.

The Judaic agenda for world domination is never complete without a great man made famine to pacify the population. They did it in ancient Egypt with the soscerer Joseph . The Jewish Bolsheviks under the Jew Lenin ochestrated collectivism to steal the farm harvests of the Russian peasants. They did same with the Holodomor famine in present day Ukraine. They adviced Mao in China to sacrifice millions of his people to hunger in the name of communism. Pol Pot of Cambodia , another communist egg head telegguided by Jews ochestrated another mass famine against his people. Whenever communism takes over, the Jewish god Saturn aka Satan must be placated with a mass genocide of humanity.

No Jewish communist take over isn't complete without a mass purge brought by a man made artificial famine.

Tinubu is a weapon of mass destruction in hand of western powers that's why he is making policies that doesn't have positive effects to Nigerians what ever the West wants him to do he doesn't consider how it will effect the country and her citizens.. because of the secrecies that surrounds him as a president they have turned him to their puppet

Tilumbu is just succumbing to the West because of the damning criminal files they have on him.

He has been implementing western policies recklessly to Nigeria's detriment. Imagine been dependent on the US for your agriculture and in 3yrs time, our local seeds might become extinct and these modified seeds from Bill Gates cannot reproduce seeds for next planting season, you must constantly depend on them for the seeds.

Tilumbu will be booted out for sure.

Before you say gmo food ain't safe, provide evidence.

What makes the conspiracy theory ridiculous in Nigeria is that majority of the food we eat in Nigeria got no labels.

Garri from cassava.
Beans, you dey chop akara and moi moi.
Bread from wheat flour, no indication on the label if it is GMO or not, but you go chop am.
You dey chop roasted corn that has no label if it is GMO or not.
Even the chicken you dey chop has no label.

If you are not eating what you produce in your garden/backyard, you have eaten GMO food.
