This is so not true. Cost of pounds in 2022 was different from this year. Even the price in September 2023 was different from December 2023. Except the person said they are paying this year.

Let us assume You, your wife and two children relocate to the UK. You are the student, they are the dependants. Whenever you want to trigger the post study, each of you will pay 4000GBP, which equals to 16,000GBP. That is a whole lot of money in UK standard.
