Oga you see all these coaches no get options than collect this meager salary cuz they are not good enough but see Africa as the only way out.

Salary only cannot be used to rate a good coach, that was my point. Avram Grant, the Zambian coach is earning 25k dollars, Chris Hughton was on 46k when he was Ghana coach and Hugo Broos 50k. If NFF had agreed to Peseiro request of 120k, can we say he is better than aforementioned coaches? I agree, if they got good offers, they wouldnt have been in Africa earning the meagers.

Not necessarily true sha. There are 24 coaches at the current Euros, half of them earn less than 100k a year and this includes the coaches of Spain and Denmark. About 9 of them earns 50k or less a month and We were paying Peisero 70k at some point. Only 6 euro teams pays their coaches 200k plus monthly.

I think we just need to find the right fit for our team and this is where a good technical department comes in. Expensive doesn't necessarily mean good.

Look at the people you are calling, If I woze you. Etebo that rarely get in front of goal except for the own goal against Croatia at Russia. Victor moses hardly tries a shooting range besides charging down the flanks. It's like you don't know what you are saying

I had extremely high hopes for Etebo, expected him to dominate the Championship and then get into the EPL.

But the Championship seems to have not been a good place for him.

Last I heard he was in the Greek league he only 28 can't understand his drop in form.

At one stage he was the best box to box midfield player we had, I thought he would have been the next Ngole Kante.
we don't want him again. Him and omeruo, they should go. Iwobi is next. Enough of wooden players in the team

An insider gossip.

NFF to ban Osimhen from playing in the next 3 games .

Emmanuel Amuneke highly favoured to replace Finidi.
He is highly recommended by the Sports Minister.
He has always been his choice.

I watched the highlight of the final few days ago and I kid you not, my heart still gave the gbimgbim feeling. That world cup was not ordinary. But according to Thegoodjoe, there is nothing exceptional about that tourney because of tikitaka.
It is the most exciting, thrilling and enthralling world cup I've ever watched. And the final was the icing on the cake, a spectacle for the ages.

In a normal situation, the 3-game ban would be ideal but I can't say the same for the current situation. We need him for the qualifiers as he is one of our best players.

I can't even think of any of other punishment. Fining him is just like doing giveaway for those greedy Papas in the glass house. Maybe a public apology to Finidi and the whole Nigerian would have been better.

With all these evidence of how they're failing outside the system, we can conclude that the ideal and genius footballer will be the one that can adapt to ANY system and still come out tops in performance. So

Former flying eagles defender Osinachi Kaleb Nwubani has been signed by Bundesliga team VFL Bochum

The 6 ft 3 inch defender was born in Ireland to Nigerian Parents and was once with the Brentford youth team .

He played for Nigeria in the U 20 and was highly rated by the coaches . The new club he signed for finished the Bundesliga 16th on the table and won the playoffs against Düsseldorf via penalty winning 6 - 5 . Both teams had won their home matches 3 - 0 which ended in 3 - 3 aggregates .

Ireland camps aren't giving up on him to pledge his allegiance to them . He was born in the country and had only played for Nigeria in the youth cadre .

Croatia is an aging team . So it's not much surprising for me. A team led by old man Modric. Since 2018 world cup.

A ban is ridiculous. We're already in murky waters we shouldn't make a bad situation worse. A public apology should be demanded (and he should be suspended from the team till the apology is made) and maybe he's denied match bonuses for a few games. Point is everyone should learn from this.

All Osimhen need is apology to Finidi and everything rest even disciplinary action will not be necessary if this is done.

I don't disagree. The suspension caveat is more like till he apologizes cause Victor can be stubborn too. But I think if they have a conversation and he's willing, a public apology should suffice.
