He is not saying anything we don't know. Abiola had a lot of wives and a lot of concubines.

He has obviously missed out on the bulk of the man's fortune and has now decided that soiling his fathers legacy for clout is the only way he can get back at Kola and co

This is also the legacy of polygamy.

True!

I am yet to see what is beneficial in polygamy.

Most of the time, it never ends well

Oh
Okay..
For their Generators anyway, you're still right about them needing Diesel for their trucks, because the truck supplying the Gas for their Generators is powered by Diesel. They have a few CNG models but the majority na Diesel

But the boyfriend has been indicted for beating the child to death.

Which pikin she kill again?
She could be an accomplice, negligence because how can you find bruises before and still left the child with the same man that tell you the bruises were from him falling over

40??

How did he remain successful and still be knacking one woman per day?
He started business at the age of 9 and later became a business tycoon.

His first business was selling firewood.

He was publisher and Chairman of Concord Press of Nigeria Limited.

He was also a Chief Executive of a Nigerian radio station.

My son turns 17 this year. The boy is a good pikin but he keeps giving me wahala. My partner called me this afternoon to complain about his son who is same age.
With three pikin and you have stress trying to raise responsible adults. Even more so with social media influence.

But one day in our WhatsApp group one guy was extolling polygamy. He actually thinks the rubbish those governors with 4 wives and 20 children is to be celebrated. I asked how do you raise 20 children? It is hard enough raising two. And the guys answer - that's the woman's job.

Their story is likely to be even worse than Abiolas

See now as yeye bellos children school fees have been truncated while he is still alive

I am not doubting his success

I'm just asking how he can maintain that while attending to the needs of 40 women and children respectively

40 sounds like an exaggeration

I understand.

He, himself, was the 23rd child of his father.

It must be hard as you said to have as many wives, concubines, and children.

You are conflating being a father with being a daddy.
And like a lot of us, you are taking having a responsible father who was physically and emotionally available in our childhood for granted

(as my goddam pikins take me for granted too angry angry)

Once your number of children pass four you are moving into Sperm donor territory.

Just throw money at the any of the pikins problem

It is very rarely that the pikin has the traits the dad used to build the empire in the first place. Abiolas drive came from a childhood in poverty. Kola was born to one of Nigerias richest men. It is a conundrum oyibos solved by giving handing the company to competent hands while giving the children controlling shares in the company. But that model cannot work here sha.

I am not sure there is anything left of Abiolas legacy as it is. I mean hafsat Abiola took a role as albino puss-y of kogis campaign dg.

Kola seem like a guy who was not in support of his fatherā€™s political ambitions . He seem like a guy still angry with his dad for listening to political praise singers who sweet-talk him into the presidential ambition

Kola most likely enjoyed the life of the son of one of the richest men in Africa . All of that was disrupted wby the June 12 saga. He was most likely living far better than Dangoteā€™s kids now back in the days .

I feel for him sha .

He was the fist of this father's children to survive infancy, hence Abiola's other name "Kashimawo", meaning "let us continue to observe".

Its how the cookie crumbles. Now imagine if mko had become president. Kola would have outdone Seyi Tinubu. cheesy.

But I can only imagine how it feels looking at people like dangote or adenuga living it up. But again that's how the cookie crumbles sometimes.

Hafsat is not Kola's full sibling, so she most likely never got a huge chunk anyway. Kola gave DNA certified kids from other wives and concubines some little money and kept most of the inheritance for himself and his full siblings i.e Simbiat's children.

I donā€™t think itā€™s an exaggeration o.

One woman we once worked together , she narrated her encounter with MKO as a young lady. She said that was when she actually knew MKO likes women a lot.

She was a teenager who had not clocked 18 . The man came to air force base where she was staying then and the man just Dey shine eyes the moment she greeted him as an elderly person o. You know MKO stutters when he speaks , she said the man just Dey vibrate Dey talk ā€œ ba ba bawo ni my dearā€¦ā€ grin

She was innocent and didnā€™t really know baba was making overtures at her . It was later she realized baba picks up wives as easy as that. Heā€™s always on guard to pick wives as random as that.

Kola's mum Simbiat did not want Abiola to run for office. It was when she died that Abiola entered the fray to run after the first set of primaries was cancelled. Kudirat was active in pushing him to run.
