AdesegunSanni89:Mr. Man, are we saying it is only one aircraft that the president has or the remaining aircrafts are also faulty. Why are we so wasteful in this part of the world? At least the presidency is having up to 10 aircrafts, please what happened to the rest? If the rest are not okay too, they should be sold out and use the money generated there to buy two or three good ones, instead of having redundant aircrafts and later using the people's patrimony to buy new one. It makes no sense. Meanwhile, the suggestion you're giving here makes no sense because none of them ever said the president should board the faulty plane. Put in mind their suggestions stemmed from the valuable information at their disposal that you don't know. Next time apply common sense. 1 Like |

rickleye:Do you think aircraft is like the car in motor park? The moment the president hire any aircraft for his itinerary or journey, protocol demands that that plane will instantly be marked as such and it will enjoy all the protocols it deserves. It is not today that such high ranking hire aircraft or jet for their itineraries. Thankfully he hired one not quite long and was accorded all rights as a head of state or president. Please note that aircrafts business is not like cars transport business. 1 Like |

Pls get sense. You called it private jet , what does private jet has to do with this? Tinubu should as well use his personal jet and leave the tax payers money. hafeeanubasy: |

But Reno Omockery said Obi lied about the presidency wanting a new presidential jet saying it was the idea of the national assembly and not the president! Instead of his benighted supporters to do proper investigation, they preferred to believe Omockery as a result of their zombism! 1 Like |

spiSeyi:Don't many workers go to work with their cars? Does the govt pay them for any damage to the cars? Just why are you guys justifying and supporting govt's thoughtlessness and wickedness. That presidential jet is not a priority for the country now but of course with Tinubu, the less important things are his priority. 3 Likes |

If Tinubu ask us to make sacrifices, he should live by example he can't be living in luxury and expect the citizens to be suffering olawonder: |

spiSeyi:There's no need for the purchase of new jets now brother. It doesn't make economic sense at a time millions of Nigerians are going to bed hungry. Even thinking about it shows Tinubu has no regard for millions of suffering Nigerians. How can you ask us to make sacrifice but you're living in flamboyant opulence? 1 Like |

Look at this man calling politicians outlandishly flamboyant when he celebrated and made money from the opulence of Nigerians both politicians and alike with his ovation magazine that only celebrates and promote wealth and affluence. He should sit down somewhere. Besides, he don't know where the gym is. He is morbidly obese. Gosh. Lazy man 1 Like 2 Shares |

Good2go1: That position doesn’t always work like that. Presidential jets are absolutely necessary for the roles, it’s not about living in luxury because he has one or two jets before becoming the president. Imagine all of the duties and missions that top pastors have as excuses for owning private jets, don’t you think the president hv more than those duties which require private transport? |

IfnobeGod20: So has the airplane he travelled from Saudi to England with been converted to private jet now? Or has it now been condemned to only carry heads of states due to the leprosy treatment done for it? Did anybody die when he was cramped up with other passengers in the plane? |

olawonder:As the presidential jets are absolutely necessary are you aware that eating good food is also absolutely necessary? Hence, the president has refused yielding to pay a take home wage that can carter for the workers wellbeing in this excruciating economy last year. The same President and his crony have been telling citizens to endure the hardship for a better tomorrow. To such person preaching to the average citizens that are finding it difficult to meet daily needs, should he live a flamboyant lifestyle too? The presidency doesn't have only one aircraft. The presidential jets are you to 6, except they want to tell us everything are unusable and if it is so. Why keeping redundant aircrafts and not dispose them and use the proceeds to buy one or two new ones. That's how a reasonable and empathetic leaders do. Living a good life is absolutely necessary for Nigerians and not only the president. As the constitution even mandated him to that the welfare and protection of the citizens shall be paramount to him. But as at today are the welfare and protection of Nigerians paramount in their hearts today? |
