Nigeria’s commercial hub, Lagos, and the capital city, Abuja, have been identified as the cheapest cities globally for expatriates to live in, according to the 2024 Mercer Cost of Living Survey released on Monday. Very true...let me give you an example The cost to stay in a UK hotel for 3 days = 300 pounds = $375 = N540,000 You will pay the same to stay in an AirBnB in Ibadan for 5.5 weeks. 3 days vs 38 days...Sadly not everyone can japa to enjoy Nigeria even those in that UK or US. Savings are hard to come by but those retired are milking it o. They have paid off mortgages abroad and finished building in Nigeria...collecting monthly retirement in forex. Islie: 5 Likes |
