Ajibade Named Atletico Madrid Women’s Player Of The Season

Rasheedat Ajibade has been named Atletico Madrid women’s Player of the Season for 2023/24.

Atletico Madrid announced Ajibade as the Player of the Season on their X handle on Wednesday.

Ajibade scored 10 goals and provided eight assists for Atletico Madrid in the just concluded campaign.

She scored the decisive goal in the 1-0 win against Villarreal on the final day, which secured qualification for next season’s UEFA women’s Champions League. preliminary round.

She's always been amazing with wonderful technique. Rasheedat Ajibade played the no 10 role for the u20 falconet iirc. She's always been a technical midfielder. In fact, she's the most technical player in the super falcon currently. She and Abiodun Deborah, albeit Abiodun is a defensive midfielder while Ajibade is an attacking midfielder however, they both have fantastic technique in common. I recall both got nominated for caf this year with agba Baller Oshoala winning it.
