The only way he can successfully win sole custody from the mother is if he can prove that she's physically and/or mentally unfit to raise the child on her own. Someone like him that is hardly physically available to raise the child can never be granted sole custody in a competent court.

Being in custody of, is different from having access to... A patient in a hospital is in the management's custody while his loved ones can still have access to him. Sometimes the doctor may deny you access to the person.

We have only heard the current situation of things with Davido and the Adelekes.

Unfortunately the relationship between the two parents has not been existing since the birth of the baby. How Davido turned out to dislike the lady, is a matter that we have not been told. But I wonder if Davido would have treated Sophia Momodu in that manner, if Dele Momodu was her biological father. Or has she been badly treated, believing that her father was nobody, Dele Momodu’s brother was nobody? The intervention of Dele Momodu restored confidence in the young lady.

From the beginning, it appeared like the Adelekes wanted to take the child off her mum and send her mum away empty. With so much wealth and power, they could achieve it, if not for the intervention of Mr. Dele Momodu.

This story has lingered since 2015 when the baby was born.

Now @9 years old and deeply loved by the Adelekes, going to the court appears as a more legal method of getting the baby off her mom.

The lady too must accept entitlements given to her by the Adelekes because of the baby, for peace to reign. I think the present attempt by Davido to get custody of the baby, stems from what he sees as a drop in the level of the little girl’s standard of living.

Sophia knows that that I made is her meal ticket and doesn't want to let her go.

As soon as you win that case, take your vehicles and do not offer her any accomodation. She is silly.
