I received an invitation for the selection test for the Telecommunications Engineer role last Thursday. I noticed a few others have also mentioned receiving similar emails.

I see there's a WhatsApp group for this. Could anyone share links to the Saville Consult practice questions, especially the technical part? It would be very much appreciated.

We couldn't validate the claim but that's the only one we got for inspection Engineers.

If I understand you clearly, No mails received but a phone call conversation. Was the call about the application and the way foward or ...?

Yes, I was asked specific ‘on the job’ type questions and how long I have been working in the industry. I was also allowed some time to talk about my experiences and why I want to leave my current job who are also a major competition. It really felt like an interview to be honest. Call lasted for 26minutes.

SUMMARY OF WHATS HAPPENING SO FAR....
Mails were sent to some candidates from TotalEnergies, the mail reads that they should expect an assessment test mail from Saville.. which as of today has started dropping.
Many were called or mailed directly for interviews, this is specifically for Inspection Engineers. Though some inspection Engineers also received mail for Assesmment.
Either way, it shows there's a lot of employment opportunities now in TotalEnergies.
For those that haven't received anything, Do Not lose Hope until your profile on TotalEnergies career page says otherwise. Mails and calls are still coming in as of today!!
For those that will be writing test soon, I wish you all the best of luck.
For those that have been interviewed, I wish you all success.
I pray one day, we all will meet in TotalEnergies and talk about Nairaland episodes.

I gave a specific amount, but I'd suggest you shouldn't worry about what you mentioned as expected salary since it is a direct (not contract) employment. The company will still pay you what they pay for that position (regardless of whether you stated a very low or very high amount), you may only choose to accept or reject the offer letter. And the call conversation was obviously not for local employment, cos I was asked if I would love to relocate to France (Paris) for the job.
