People are so funny. The way they think they know people more than themselves is very appalling.
Imagine all those ones who are blaming the OP for what he got with his OWN money.
You mean a grown adult doesn't know what he needs?
We should learn to understand that reality is different for everybody.
If you gave 100k to someone who is hungry. They'll prolly buy food stuff first of all.
If you gave the same 100k to someone who has a truck load of food stuff in his house. He might use the money for provision.
If you have 100k to someone who sells pepper by road side. She could invest the money in her business
If you gave 100k to someone who ones a boutique worth 50Million. She will use the money to buy chain.

I remember when I just started making it in life and I gave my dad 100k. I swr, this man shared the money until it was 20k.

So O.P. As long as you didn't spend them money on illness and you are not scammed of it. See, the money has served it's purpose. Don't let anybody make you feel unwise for spending your OWN money how you deemed fit.
