If southgate had idea he will remove TAA and put Wharton or Gallagher, the match may be too much for Wharton. Because you see that midfield, though Foden is dropping deep to progress the ball. Denmark are showing more quality on the ball in midfield

And may Saka sha show up for England because them fit lose again

I feel for Foden he seems to be playing with a lot of pressure but what England need is a cool head and an extra hand in attack in this a palm that releases passes.

Bellingham needs to step up as well, maybe when TAA goes off

The same mentality that lost them the Euro final against Italy. They weren’t that threatening in the first place. But after scoring they stopped trying to create chances. There are too many players in midfield. There’s a lot of action but the net effect on Denmark is zero.

No tactics will right this anomaly. Southgate has to make a personnel change in midfield. Or attack.

Hjulmand and Hojbjerg are toying with Rice and TAA, who himself is NOT a CM. And Eriksen is giving them help by dropping to form triangles but Bellingham dey play as SS, so despite Denmark nominally lining up in a 3412, and even a 532 when defending, the midfield is theirs.

I don't know what Gareth is thinking.

Marcus Rashford had a bad season but him or Gordon on the left is an infinitely better option than Having Foden, who loves to come in field, play there.

One of them would've pinned Joachim Maehle back to the point where the kind of joy Denmark have had on that flank would've been nonexistent, with Saka doing something similar to Kristiansen.

Play a trio of Rice (he MUST sit), Bellingham and Foden.

Case closed. You can play your coward tactics sef and still win.

The guy is just an obdurate fool.
